But the jury never heard Neumiester (sp?) testimony - isn't this the first of comp the jury is hearing?

They (the jury) are not getting a complete picture of this whole comp issue - or the attack of the misconduct issue either.

How is this helping or hindering either side - to me, it's just not worth it and a waste of time.

I agree that those comments are beyond reasonable criticism. I am not a JSS "basher" but I have come to accept that she has lost her judicial mind on several issues and has little to no control over her courtroom.

It's not about bashing her. But there's no reason she should be beyond criticism and no reason her decisions shouldn't be scrutinized. Judges don't always get it right. That's why there are appeals courts. She's a fine judge but she's a little bit in the weeds right now. There's nothing wrong with pointing that out.

Amen! At the same time as I was forming my own very uneducated opinion of her management skills, the print media and every program I looked at were also shocked at her decisions, her efforts to allow the defense to conduct a secret trial and her seeming inability to control this defense team. I wouldn't be surprised if we're still here in 6 months from now... I have been following two local murder trials, they have both been determined and sentenced in less time than this sentencing re-hearing.

I thought we all already knew this. And what does the jury care about when he was asked to testify? What am I missing here? The jury never heard from BN so this will be lost on them.
