So the motion to dismiss was denied according to BK

I believe that was for the one that just happened when JW wanted Juan to step down as presecutor which was also denied. Not the prior one that is before the judge. JMO

Seriously though, someone tell me, WHAT could have been the purpose of Nurmi's remark? "The prosecutor was more interested in looking at nude pictures of Jodi Arias." HOW does that support any of their arguments? It's just a petty horrible jab at a FELLOW attorney and Nurmi and JW disgust me. There was NO need for such a remark.

I hope JM stays focused.

I was just going to post the same thing. They have gone over to the dark side. Creepy and disturbing.

I doubt that the dark side was unfamiliar to the DT before this trial. IMO, the DT and the murderer are a marriage made in the dark side.

Another return from recess, another sidebar. #jodiarias

The judge is on the bench. No jury. JM argues that in terms of the statements made, I instructed EF specifically not to repeat what Maria Schaffer said that day which were highly inflammatory. If you want me to, I can say it in open court or I can tell you at the bench.

Transcripts will be released tomorrow #jodiarias

Good thing tomorrow we're expecting rain and sleet tomorrow. Time to cozy up before the fire after court (if held tomorrow).

It isn't unusual for the judge to make the jury leave in the middle of testimony and have the attorneys ask the questions they plan on asking if they feel the questioning is going off the rails a little bit. This was a good move by JSS because it was improper questioning and she disallowed it.

And if the 🤬🤬🤬🤬 can't come in - what the hell is the purpose of these experts testifying infront of the jury?

What difference does it make if Juan, Flores, Nurmi and/or Jenny looked at naked photos of the killer.
There is no crime in that, at least I do not think so.

As Juan objects to a suggestion made by Willmott for JSS to postpone decision on DP until later, #jodiarias talks over him to Nurmi

The purpose was to be an @$$hat and he does it because JSS doesn't sanction any of this atrocious behavior.

I am lost on how any of this is related to the mitigating factors.

We have established that she is guilty in the last trial. This seems to be a retrial of the parts they did not like from the last trial rather then focusing on the mitigating factors. Also, to have a mitigation specialist that can not get any mitigation witnesses seems to be ineffective council to me. If said mitigation specialist can not get anyone to testify why is she even there still?

I am so lost on how we have gotten to where we are now and feel pain in my heart for Travis’s family as they watch this circus continue rather than coming to a close. All my observations and opinions.
