They want to have another secret witness I guess. Let's play this audiotape of a guy we never subpoenaed and count that as sworn testimony that Juan cannot cross. If Juan says he'll call him as a state witness, the defense would demand he be barred because Juan is trying to pull a fast one by adding someone at the 11th hour not on his original witness list. They always want to have everything both ways.

Why should Flores stipulate to anything whatsoever? "I heard a tape of a voice I do not recognize, so nothing he said means anything to me. That could have been recorded in the lobby during lunch for all I know."

The audio recording they just listened to (out of the juror's earshot) was audio taped in Sept. 2014!

Flores was not present at this interview but JW is asking him about the interview on the stand.

I guess Flores will only have himself to blame. Of course, if he shuffles off this mortal coil, he'll never have to deal with Nurmi, Wilmott or Jodi again. He might think it's worth it.

Exactly. He's not doubting what she's saying but he's jsut not going to agree to knowing something he doesn't know for himself. Seems like she'd have an easier time if she called Zachary herself instead if calling Flores for the billionth time to tetsify about something he's never heard before.
