I had heard rumblings of it when I visited Jodi-land. I heard complaints that the guards were 'mean' to her and unfair. But I did not know the specifics until reading the courts ruling. :denied:

I have been thinking about that too. But I can't come up with any damage so far. They claimed someone apparently looked up 'you porn' url on June 1st. Ok, does not seem like much of a big deal. No one can say for sure it was TA, and the lame audio tape they played did not prove anything. And even if it was TA, big feakin deal. Especially if it was the Siamese porn site. Imo, that sounds like more of a jokey thing than a porn thing. { My husband and his brother play a really silly game of sending the grossest weirdest links to each other...:slap: ]

And the other somewhat confusing allegation, imo, did no damage so far. They did nothing to show it was actually Flores that downloaded anything. And it was far too tenuous, and flimsy an allegation. JMO

Damage to pros' case, no. Quite the opposite, imo. Every single "story" the DT have put forth has bombed, turned to naught. If I'm a juror, I'm thinking the DT are disingenuous and have.no.mitigation.

I know I've read where the Sheriff stopped JA from news interviews after her conviction & a letter Sheriff Joe wrote to a someone requesting to visit JA for a documentary. Other than that, Sheriff Joe serves all inmates his mystery loaf, full of all you need to survive on & more. (lol)

But this smack down was long over due, ... Yes, better late than never !

Significant changes and consideration for the Alexander Family still need to happen in JSS's courtroom, IMO.

I have recently developed a theory regarding both the defense strategy and what JM was doing today. They are both way way off the wall.

1. JM's questions today that caused JW to object to what seemed like every single question. JM asked the questions he did and the way he did for the purpose of making the defense constantly object. Leaving the jury wondering what the defense is hiding.

2. Now this one is way nutty...we all know that it's the defenses job to do everything they can for their client, which without doubt this defense certainly has done including the constant motions. I put out here for your amusement or anger, but what if Nurmi is doing all this for another reason too. He's doing all this during trial so there will be very little if anything left to appeal regardless of the verdict. Remember, he's stated in court that he doesn't particularly like her much either.

Just some thoughts.

I'm still catching up, but if the youporn was June 1, 2008 I the k it could of been Travis This was just days after the sex tape phone call. I think its possible Jodi told Travis she recorded it, and that is what the heated argument was about. She either threatened him she put a video on youporn or he was worried she might of done it. He went on youporn for fourth-five minutes looking to see if she had put anything on it. I would be looking too.

Well now, I just read both links in the post......

Something I read today in an appeal opinion.....The person was already found guilty by a jury, so the court was ruling in their eyes on a convicted murderer.
Maybe good old Sheriff Joe is just saying, hey this person Arias is a convicted murderer and this is my jail. No special treatment for convicted criminals in my jail.

She can always try when she gets to death row..........to have that doc made LOL

About number 2---not really that nutty. I know that it is very hard to win an appeal for 'incompetent attorney ' if said attorney files lots of motions. It is much easier to win that type of appeal if the attorney does very little and puts on little to no defense. But if they DO put on a defense, and make motions and bring in witnesses, it is very difficult to succeed with that appeal. Maybe Nurmi is just trying to protect himself, and not his client.

Just read the ~1000 page ruling!! And now we know why the poor judge waited to rule. Thank you JSS!!!!! Imagine the pouty face and tantrum going on in JA's cell right now!! I bet JW and KN are at a bar somewhere sighing with relief. They tried everything. It's over now. Happy dance in Toronto though and you're all invited!!!! Wooohooo!!

I am imagining a pursed-lip Nurmi down at the Gentlemens Club telling Cha Cha on her break that she will be testi-lying soon. She will not be happy when he tells her that she will have to give up her night job so they can get their stories straight. LOL!

One last remark before I leave... Tweeters sure "miss" the good parts, as does, apparently Beth Karas. They've been listening to the same testimony as JSS has, yet somehow none of them wrote a blog post/article highlighting the important parts and sum it all up like JSS did, sometimes in less than five sentences.

I could have saved myself some e-stress if they had done a better job, tbh. IMO.

No kidding, all tweeters failed to mention that it was operating system files being modified/overwritten and not data files. Goodness, that makes such a difference. Sorta wonder why none of their experts ever bothered to explain the difference to the DT.
