All these attempts to try and make TA into a watching dude (um, like millions of others out there), does not provide a legal reason for someone to murder him. All the delays and motions and lengthening this phase still does not do anything to give the jury what they need to make a decision on mitigation. In fact it gives them no mitigation.

So who cares if they watched every single time they were together. I think this is what the jury is thinking about now.

And I still think DF strategy is all about delaying trial hoping for more jurors dropping or some such thing. They know there is no child .

I take it this is JSS way of letting everyone know that she is not dismissing the death penalty? What a coward. She should be proudly denying the motion in open court so that it is clear that the people who were being accused (so egregiously by this defendant and her council of minions) did nothing untoward.

By not ruling on this latest motion to drop the DP could she be nipping the next identical motion that would follow next week in the bud? Perhaps this was a brilliant move on her part. Ignore them and carry on???? Just guessing here

I am being totally serious when I say this; I think that JSS should advise the jury that she is unable to give them definite end date at this time, but will advise them as to the progress being made and what time frame (if any) they are looking at on a week-to-week basis.
