I do not believe there is anything remotely "just" about allowing affidavits from people who can testify in person. There is NO evidence that these people are in any danger. Especially the ones who's names have been all over the internet for the last 7 years in relation to this trial.

And how is other people's opinions of the trial in any way a mitigating factor? Where are the glowing stories about JA? Even in these affidavits all we're hearing are that TA and the Alexander family caused their own pain and destruction.

We're at a new level of WTF. :notgood:

I am confused. Has the jury heard anything since the lunch break? Did they hear the defense claim there is porn on TA's computer or that JM is objecting to affidavits being read by Geffner? I hope not. That would be so wrong. Would JSS actually allow Geffner to read those affidavits? If so, can JM subpoena those witnesses and force them into court? Is AZlawyer here?
