Retrial for Sentencing of Jodi Arias - Day 26

Why would the DV shelter want her clothes? They are ugly, are being worn by a bloodthirsty woman and....I do not think that DV shelters want clothes from the abuser!

I wouldn't want anything that she has touched--much less worn.

This report says as Jodi looked back on that night she had little memory, and loved TA so much, she couldn't reconcile she had done it so made up a story that put the pieces together??

If she couldn't reconcile that she had done it, and had such little memory, why did she IMMEDIATELY begin to cover her tracks by calling TA's cell to invite him to Othello< and to call Ryan and tell him she got lost and fell asleep?

Unfortunately, I couldn't "watch" the trial this morning and just got here. Can anyone give a quick update? Pretty please. I heard about the death of DF son. So beyond sad. Anything else happening? Thank in advance.

Discrepancy in date JA says TA broke her finger. JW is trying to make point date doesn't change the physical abuse of JA. Jury is paying attention. Supposedly TA broke her finger the day after she walked in on him. Sho ing JA journal jam 24. 2008- JA writes nothing noteworthy to report. JM objecting profusely @ Geff being asked to answ r why she would write that after such events!

JW points to JA's journals and the 1/24/08 entry which is the first one after the 1/22 alleged incident. "I haven't written because there is nothing noteworthy to report." What is your understanding of what that means?


maybe it's becasue she has nothing noteworthy to write?

No medical records. No independent corroboration. No police report.

The jury will be instructed to disregard her testimony completely if she doesn't retake the stand. (She can't, AFAIK, be forced to testify...even though she already started to.)

Personally, I vote to employ the stun belt until cross is complete.

Are you sure about the disregard? I thought so too but iirc read that rule doesn't apply in this phase.

But I thought this affidavit was not given to mitigation specialist under oath....just to associates of Dr G that traveled to NZ. If this is so....I hope it's clear to jury.

I believe the affidavit was given to the mitigation specialist under oath, but Dr. G and his associate also spoke with the witness.

Geff allowed to answer what nothing noteworthy to report means... He says law of attraction means nothing my POSITIVE to say so she didn't write anything.

Yeah it does because her finger wasn't broken from kicking it. She's either double-jointed or she slashed it when she slashed Travis.
