Interview w/#JodiArias maternal grandparents.

"JA was very mean to Sandy. Always told her how to raise younger children. Was always mean."

In another interview her grandparents said that you had to speak with perfect grammar around her or she would correct you. #jodiarias

Additionally she did not want anyone "ruling her life." #jodiarias

JSS admitting 874 and 876, clerk is marking them, now showing 876 on screen - Caroline and Sonny are JA's maternal gparents.
Next page: ja was mean to sandy, always told sandy how to raise the siblings, always angry with sandy - nobody knows why.

Jodi didn't want anyone running her life. If you spoke to Jodi, you had to use perfect grammar and speech.

Those were statements by the grandparents.

This is gorgeous. I have a huge grin on my face right now. To hell with Dr. F and Dr. G, these are the people who knew JA best and they are painting a whole different picture.

Those examples would be classified as aggressive and overbearing, DeMarte says. #jodiarias

Well, the part of the opinion from case law JSS read, the judge may still use discretion for whether or not 1) the evidence is relevant and 2) whether the prejudicial effect outweighs the probative value. And she did. Because Juan made a good point - the purpose was not to assassinate character, but it was used for the alternative purposes of supporting Jodi's own answer that she has a problem with being rude and overbearing, and that the state should be allowed to show the other side of Jodi as opposed to the always passive and shy Jodi, AND that this consistency from close family members was used in part to form Dr. DeM's opinions.

You're giving us such great insight :loveyou:

#JodiArias is clearly sketching. Shading the left side of the paper.

Looking disengaged. Some jurors stare at her.
Good goin' Jodi...you show those jurors you're too much of a special little snowflake to have to pay attention in your own sentencing. Get ChaCha to tweet something about how you're a better sketch artist than DaVinci next...

I kept hoping JA would testify that she was so traumatized by the murder that she would never again touch a knife or a gun--which would have opened the door for JM to bring in the knife and gun in her possession post-murder. No such luck, apparently.

Dr. DeMarte begins to say people describe #JodiArias as.... then we get a sidebar.

DeM says those examples would be examples of her aggressiveness and assertiveness. In addition, her traveling to the memorial service and her assertiveness is shown when, on the way back she had a conversation with a man, who gave her his card, and then when she got back, she immediately called him.

Sidebar when asked how Purple Plum co-workers described JA

Poor Travis, I know he saw many sides to Jodi.

Uh oh - that middle part sounds like my daughter and I. I mean my daughter and me.

A big 'thank you' to Dr. Demarte for speaking on behalf of Travis--the real victim in this case!

The state wants to use this to show she doesn't suffer in silence and isn't always passive. Nurmi says that it is not appropriate under case law because the comment about her being a total Bword is meaningless and just an assassination on JA character.

we were allowed to hear she was a 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
