Jury takes notes as De says Jodi called a man she met on the plane immediately after TA's funeral. #jodiarias

-----JA and the defense does not want the jury to know JA's secrets ^^^ so glad these are coming out !

:happydance:

Gah, I hate when I can't keep up. I thought the different answers was because JA was answering one pretending it was pre-murder and the next one post-murder? And that it wasn't just one event?

I'm behind so disregard if someone has answered your post. That is how the DT presented it but the DAPS, a standardized instrument, used was intended for your feelings regarding a static event, which essentially means how one felt AT THE TIME of only ONE specific event. Therefore, the results have been invalidated because the defense used this particular test for something other than it's intended purposes . I hope that made sense--see bolded part below;

"The Detailed Assessment of Posttraumatic Stress (DAPS) is an 105-item inventory that provides detailed information on an adult client's history of various types of trauma exposure, as well as his or her immediate psychological reactions (cognitive, emotional, and dissociative), enduring posttraumatic stress symptoms (reexperiencing, avoidance, and hyperarousal), and level of posttraumatic impairment in the context of a specific traumatic event. The event-focus of the DAPS allows for a tentative DSM-IV diagnoses of Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Acute Stress Disorder (ASD). The DAPS also includes two validity scales that evaluate under- and over-report of symptoms, and three supplementary scales that evaluate the event-related dissociation, substance abuse, and suicidality often associated with posttraumatic stress."

De testifies about #JodiArias' aggressiveness & assertieness.

On the way home from TA's memorial, she asked a man for his # & called him.

:great: I am so glad THIS jury is hearing this !

:happydance::happydance:

Yesss. Killed him, went to his memorial, and then already looking for new prey. Traumatized? Yeah right!

#JodiArias passes note to Maria.

-----It will be on Twitter shortly ... I'll check !

:gaah:

OMG- I can hardly believe she followed the law and not the defense teams demands! Hoorah... pigs are flying all over the good ol' US of A!

Told 'ya to have faith in this judge!!

I just don't understand the strategy in presenting JA in such an obviously false light and opening the door to all this rebuttal testimony. :thinking:

The best part is these family members are talking about years and years before the murder. No change because of Travis- Jodi Ann Arias- the true Jodi Ann Arias- the one alive and well and kicking at the defense table as opposed to the brutally stabbed and almost decapitated Travis Alexander who is now 6 feet under- thanks to Jodi.

Yes!

And what's also glaringly obvious is that Dr. D actually interviewed people about the murderess rather than relying strictly on JAs word, tests, and journals.

She's showing what a fraud the Geff and Fonz are!!!

The absence of JA family members willing to testify for her will hopefully speak volumes to this jury.

Did this come out in the first trial?

now asking about JA's maternal grandparents. Comments about her rudeness in exhibit 876 which JM is asking court to admit. Nurmi looks it over and wants to approach. Sidebar.

Ziggy, how did Jodi react about the B**** statement being read???

Is the Purple Plum the place she was working at when her coworkers said she would leave in the middle of her shift to chase after Travis and you could hear her yelling and crying at him on the phone?

JA didn't want anyone running her life and if you spoke to Jodi you had to use perfect grammar and speak or she would correct you #jodiarias

Poor Travis, I know he saw many sides to Jodi.

Clearly she felt she was better than the other members of her family - thus bossing them around about raising children, correcting their grammar, etc. This is priceless - meek little wallflower, indeed!

I have to go do some stuff away from the computer, I'm sure few will miss MK's tweets but someone else can post 'em if they wanna. :)

Hey that's not fair. The defense experts also relied on W1's affidavit. :happydance:

JSS admitting 874 and 876, clerk is marking them, now showing 876 on screen - Caroline and Sonny are JA's maternal gparents.
Next page: ja was mean to sandy, always told sandy how to raise the siblings, always angry with sandy - nobody knows why.

Jodi didn't want anyone running her life. If you spoke to Jodi, you had to use perfect grammar and speech.

Those were statements by the grandparents.

I'm so thankful that the Judge is allowing these statements into evidence. This allows a glimpse of the real Jodi, into a time before she slaughtered Travis.

So her grandparents were on to her pedantic tendencies and issues with authority. Surprise...not!

Final piece of the puzzle, thank you. :)

AZlawyer..question. Since JSS allowed the maternal grandmothers statement in that Jodi was very mean to her mother, does this open the door for JM to show the video of Det Flores interviewing Jodi's dad, where he also stated Jodi was mean to her mother and would call her yelling at her? And also, the statement by Jodi's mother that Jodi was always telling her she didn't read enough and wasn't smart, etc? I hope so!!
