Exactly! He says the breakups there weren't messy, of course save for the choking and cheating. Well, the breakup with Travis wouldn't have been messy either had she not killed the guy! Otherwise it was just as "messy" as her other breakups.

I *think* Nurmi's point is that Dr.D takes only Jodi's word on some things but other things she doesn't. Like, either you believe her and take the information into consideration, or you don't. You can't pick and choose what of Jodi's words you believe and what you don't (without corroborating evidence).

Yeah but we already discussed this. Demarte isn't doing that. She's discounting things using tangible evidence and Jodi's own inconsistencies. She's accepting things because there's no evidence either way it's a lie, but is careful to preface it with "according to Jodi." That tactic won't work.
