I think the judge needs to let Travis's siblings redo their victim-impact statements. As soon as the statements were given last fall, it seems like the defense team hijacked the trial by asking the same questions repeatedly and by saying that their witnesses couldn't be there for a week or so, drawing out the trial as long as they could. If Nurmi has talked the same way during this retrial of the penalty phase as he did during the original trial, I think he could make a huge amount of money by making recordings of his questioning and selling the tapes as sleep aids.
