IMO, the onky thing Jodi had going for her was her body.
Her teeth look like dracula.
I've been a blonde all my life, not sure if Jodi's hair fakeness added to her looks.
With that being said, Travis did seem to be more attracted to brunettes.

Ironic for her, since she's a natural brunette. I guess she figured that a blonde Hispanic is exotic looking.

J
I thought Nurmi made a big mistake yesterday by putting JA nude picture up during the sex tape. He didn't need to do that, he kept it up way to long and this only made her look like a cheap 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬. He was the one yesterday abusing JA. Also, since JA reported the tape stolen and it was "found" only goes to show her lies again. I don't think it really made any difference if JM had the tape tested, the fact that it ended up in the defense hands first and no one knows why or how...and that it was taped by JA a few weeks before the murder (which a juror asked) goes to show how evil she is. JM is best when cross examining so I am not worried.

I wonder how much of this is JA doing...telling KN and JW they have to do this or that, show this picture, bringing in the 12 year old girl aspect, etc., and they are doing it as long as they are not breaking the law.

What are you all expecting from the defense's case? Who do you think they'll call?

Either people have never followed a trial before or they enjoy scaring themselves silly with "what ifs." I can't think of any other reason to be pessimistic about this case. Arias has already been found guilty of first degree murder. There isn't a greater conviction one can get than that. She will never be free. Never. JSS is not going to give her the opportunity of parole. No parole board would ever free her.

The best, the very best she can possibly hope for is spending the rest of her life in prison. Even if she gets the DP, as has been pointed out scores of times over the last year, she will still be in the same exact prison, in the same size cell and will never be executed because the last female execution was 80+ years ago and there are at least 2 other women ahead of her. So in essence, she'll be spending life in the same prison and her only way out will be in a pine box.

People imagine all kinds of luxuries they think she'll get with a LWOP sentence in prison: parties, mani/pedis, field trips. I don't know where people get these ideas, but the fantasies of some kind of nice cushy life in prison are bizarre, to say the least, and continue to persist as apparently the fantasy provides some kind of entertainment through fear.

Rebuttal is coming up and it will be the last words before the jury deliberates...well unless Nurmi gets a rebuttal to the rebuttal. He did a great job of doing his job...the quote attributed to W.C. Fields is true "If you can't dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bull."

This case has affected me like no other. It has left me depressed at how this one innocent victim has been vilified and put on trial. While I have seen that done to some extent in other cases I have never seen it done to this extreme cruel degree.......

I literally could feel my blood pressure rising and my head was pounding yesterday as I read the twisted evil questions KN was asking. I had to stop reading the tweets and walkaway. I just couldn't take it anymore. I think in over 20 years of trial watching this is the first time I have had to do this.

I thought that I would never see another defense attorney as much as I despised Steve Feldman and Baez. I was wrong. But then I had never heard of KN either.

He without a doubt is as slimy and creepy as his client. Everything to KN is about sex, sex, and more sex. Yet if he was defending a child rapist or an adult sex offender, which he says is his expertise, he would fight tooth and nail that the sex aspect be kept out or he would be dismissive.

It breaks my heart that Travis' past life has been reduced to a 40 minute sex tape and that is all the jury knows about him. And to know that this was nothing more than a lure of a black widow is even more painful. Imo, she planned to blackmail Travis with this sex tape. I think she told him around March 26th she had recorded it and he better take her to Cancun or else. This is when Travis knew he was dealing with a psychopath and knew he never wanted her in his life again knowing she was the worst thing that had ever happened to him.

Travis was so much more than a 40 minute span of time. All that knew Travis, loved him. Its hard to find a person that everyone seemed to have liked, admired, and loved but Travis seem to have no enemies... except one of course.

Somehow I hope the jury gets to hear who Travis really was and how kind and thoughtful he was to so many. How he helped the homeless, how he brought people into his home that were down on their luck and how he always tried to find the good in everyone.

Sorry for the lengthy post but as much heartache this one case has given me I know it cant begin to compare the pain and suffering JA and KN have put Travis' family through for 6 long agonizing years. She has held them hostage and just like she stuck the knife deep into Travis' chest she has done the same thing over and over again to the many people that loves Travis.

There is no bar too low for KN. He is going to even be more vulgar and disgusting than the time before. We know that already by the way he ask Det. Flores such filthy questions.

I have never wanted another defendant to get the death penalty as much as I do JA. She reeks of evil and she must be snuffed out permanently one day on a gurney. She doesn't even deserve to breathe air. IMO

That's right. Jail is a picnic compared to what she will experience in prison, wherever she lands.

You're so right. I remember seeing a couple of YouTube videos on the priison that Jodi will be sent to. Scary and depressing and no AC.

What I find most ludicrous is that the re-convergence has allowed the ramblings of the murderer's fans to worm their way, via JA, into Nurmi's head and out of his mouth: hollow point ammunition, DMs from Corinna Flores, etc..
A hollow point is the only way the bullet wouldn't have exited the brain, so that's why they're pushing this idea now.

For those who don't know: these kind of bullets are designed to splay out to remain inside a victim and do more damage by the shape of them.

Maybe when I turn 60, I'll consider 27 a young girl.

And Travis was only 30. She robbed him of marriage and children, which in LDS theology is paramount iirc.

Young and old are relative terms but Arias was old enough to know the difference between right and wrong. I don't think I can consider age to be a mitigating factor in a first-degree murder trial unless the defendant is under the age of eighteen. Twenty-seven? You've got to be kidding me! :gaah: And this from a girl who is younger than Jodi Arias!

What are you all expecting from the defense's case? Who do you think they'll call?

I think they will bring witnesses that can attest to how perfectly awful CMJA life was and why her life should be spared. No education, abuse, mental illnesses (manufactured), personality disorders, age, lack of nurturing by parents, parental health and poverty, daddy issues. And then go on to paint CMJA as she paints herself. (Cue gagging)

TA's last blog post: http://travisalexander.blogspot.com/

May 18, a week after the sex tape I think. JA followed his blog, because she complained about a post in which he praised the editorial help some other girl had given him but not Jodi who felt she deserved praise too. Imagine how she reacted to reading TA's public resolution to find a worthy Mormon girl to marry/have children with and avoid golddiggers and girls with an inner axe murderer lying in wait

I believe the tape was made in May because of what they discussed coming up soon. She records the tape, losing the phone in quick order and if I were on the jury I'd be thinking she has recorded the tape so that she can play it over and over and over after his death to relive the moment. By killing him she forever has his words to her on tape and a reminder that she controlled the last minutes of his life and no one would be the wiser. That is what I would be thinking about that tape. jmo

It's not. Didn't someone say she was 27 and 11 months when she killed Travis? That's 28 to me.

I consider 13 a young girl, not 27/28!!!

If I were Flores I would have stated that yes in fact I am a sex expert..as in all my yrs I've always been told Im the best, noone is better and never have had any complaints..only compliments, so yes in fact I think I probably am the expert. Of course thats just how I would have done it. .

During the first JA trial there were 3 women on death row in AZ. Two of them had cases that involved the death of a child. One of those was overturned since and the woman is awaiting retrial. The third case involved the brutal slaying for gain by a woman against her cancer-stricken husband. AZ very rarely sends a woman to death row, and once there they sit and wait for an execution date that never comes. I'd like to hear Dr. Demarte's opinion of which outcome, DR-LWOP, JA would like least, because I can't decide.

Just tuning in. I can't imagine why anyone would feel "deflated" or pessimistic about how this is going!

Pffttt to that one blogger and to the trial chatterer who needs to drive up his twitter numbers. Pfftt and kafooey.

JM is as good as it gets, she is as guilty and as cold as they come, and Nurmi can't get his mind out of the gutter.

Juries, in AZ, sure enough do have a track.record of giving women murderers without priors the DP. No reason to believe this jury can't get it right.

Yup! Juan got Wendy Andriano the Death Penalty for killing her husband who was dying of Cancer!

Definitely agree with that. I also think JA wanted to have damning proof she could take to TA's bishop and ruin his romance with Mimi if that relationship developed.

For those who don't know: these kind of bullets are designed to splay out to remain inside a victim and do more damage by the shape of them.

Also, they are pushing the 'shot first' scenario because in their shallow minds, if she shot first, it was not as 'cruel.' HUH? I don't get it either, but that's what the fanpages say.

They make it out to be 'compassionate' to have shot first. So somehow all the stabbing does not count as torture, because he was shot already. That makes no sense to me. Torture is torture.

As to the hollow point, I don't see how it could have been possible for him to fight back and try and crawl away, if he had been shot by a hollow point first thing. So they can't have it both ways.

Please, don't give them any ideas! lol
