I don't think so. I think she's bending over backwards to give the defense team less chances of appeal. By giving in to their game of secrecy, she knows the appeals court will overrule her. She's called the DT's bluff. I really don't think JSS likes Jodi, and she won't hesitate to give her LWOP if the jury votes against Death.
I trust that she understands what she's doing, even if we don't.
I guess we will have to wait and see what the appeal's court decides (IF they take on the case). I don't know - some of you say that JSS is cautious (to a fault) and that most of her actions are to prevent a succesful appeal. I just can't see such a cautious judge taking a huge gamble like this one; it depends on too many factors. What if the DT appeals the ruling of the appeal's court? Are we then looking at even more delays?
And if she's so certain of the fact that her decision to seal is WRONG and that the appeal's court would overturn it, why even take the decision in the first place? She could have just not done it, knowing that the DT wouldn't have any success when appealing it.
