well, I was totally wrong about the bird of paradise being BULB!!! I was just doing some research, and they do seed from the flower!! So this is possible. Takes 7-8 weeks for the seed to germinate.

It's just easier to divide rhizomes then grow from seed. You did good! I thought the photo was taken because of the disturbance around that area. Also the dead plants in the middle of the garden. If the camera date is correct LE wouldn't have known to take the picture for botany purposes. Didn't they have a complaint about KC stealing gas from the shed.

I wonder where those windows on the side of the house go to. Especially the taller one closest to the shed. Caylee's room?

does it seem to anyone else here that a patch of the flowers are missing. I see flowers along the fence, then a blank spot, then I see more flowers?? Is it me?

If you look closely you will see 2 plants are dead in that blank space, they kind of fade into the fence if you are not looking for them.

Yes I can see the dead foliage from the two plants. I don't think they are missing. I'm sure I'm seeing dead plants. Beneath the dead plants it looks like the mulch is missing. Also, there is an indentation beneath the row of flowers that leads to the shed. Almost like they have bad gutters. Gutters leaking or overflowing. Which leads me to no explanation for the picture being taken.

What is even weirder (is that a word?) is that IIRC CA sent KC a text after they got the car from the tow yard. I can't remember exactly but wasn't it something like "call me--we have a big problem". Somebody help....is that what her text to KC said? Strange huh? JMO

You are right on the money. I found this:

7/15/08 4:27 PM Cindy texts Casey: Call me ASAP major prob

So---the big problem was that somebody didn't pick the car up from Amscot? (that from jailhouse visit---CA ask KC "why didn't she pick up the car?").

My mind is gettin away from you guys. What do ya'll think the big probably was? Maybe that they knew there had to have been a dead body in the car and maybe thinkin KC killed a drug dealer?

Total conjecture on my part. Looking at the picture starting in the very back is a darkened shed. This goes to show the shed in this picture isn't important. Moving up to a more lighted area, you can see a hose lying down that appeared to have been used recently. The ground around the hose was wet but appeared undisturbed. The siding of those looked intact,, no blemishes showing that this isn't the reason for the pic, even though the brightness of the pic was more on that area. This leaves flowers being a central part of the picture along with the hose. I'm going with flowers as the reason for the picture, taken by LE. If this was the As camera you would have to ask yourself, what time does it turn dark in Orlando, why a pic of a picture of the side of house by them. I cannot believe this is an artistic photo showing talent, or an entertaing picture for a photo albumn taken by one of the A's. Could Caylee have been taken around that corner of house in the most autrocious way? This photo also may have been taken to rule out something in the investigation. Maybe the botony thred needs to be reinstated.

You betcha! Maybe this is where KC tried to dig with the shovel before bringing the body around the corner. This would lead to the shovel not showing dirt or gore. When that wouldn't work KC may have done the easy by placing her body around or in the sandbox after giving up on a rocky surface. I think this is the shed if your facing the A's house is to the left but i may be wrong again.LO! Dogs had a hit near the patio, right or wrong again? If so maybe the body stayed in that spot and after kC realized she couldn't dig and was on a time limit drugg her over to the sandbox. I gotta take a break before I confuse you all.

Well I think I have solved this mystery while on my search for something else.

This link is one of the forensic reports and in it, it states that that an LE officer was called to photograph and examine the yard.

Read the first 10 or so pages. The report is in chronological order as to what LE did and collected as evidence. Pg 3228 starts with the LE describing the yard and areas probed.

From picture # 49 in the slideshow. The window in the forefront of the picture I would surmise is in the kitchen above the sink, the next room is Caylee's and that would be the next window in the picture, then would be the computer room which the window in it faces the street on Hopespring, like Kc's does.
What does any of this mean? I don't know just answering a question another poster asked and still trying to figure out that one photograph.

I thought the big problem was the stink in the car, and the fact that CA hadn't seen or talked to Caylee for 31 days, MAMA.

respectfully snipped (hope I did that correctly)

Excellent post! I agree, CA was out of control because she didn't have any controll in the situation.

When it comes to the car, something has always bothered me and CA's call to 911. She basically implicated herself in obstruction. GA/CA, knowing there daughter had taken off and they had not seen or heard their gd for a month. After GA spoke with the Tow Company and saw that car with all the stuff in full view, then the smell... they should have immediately called LE. GA's statement later to LE, he talks about how it all appeared, the fear of opening the trunk and yet he drove the car home. Whether GA was an officer previously, I just can't see any parent doing that. I can see a parent, calling the daughter immediately, this is weird, the car has been abandoned for a length of time to be towed. I don't recall the last time CA spoke to KC on the phone prior to finding out about the car (and neither GA/CA mentioned this). Personally, if I hadnt' heard from my daughter and I find the car was towed after sitting for awhile. I'd be gravely concerned, the condition and smell of that car... no way I'd be taking it anywhere, I'd call LE. I don't think at that moment they knew what they were covering up, but they in fact knew they were covering 'something' KC had done.
...and Cindy was mighty p*ssed that she had to pay so much. Huh?!

My question about Caylee's room and the window was could that be how she got a deceased Caylee out of the house, through the window and into the side yard by the shed? Sorry if O/T, but I was trying to figure out the picture too, why LE might have taken it.

... pg 180 in the above link is the interview for RM ..... these docs drive me batty. I remember reading this but I can't find it either.

Never mind, I found it in the same link, different page numbers starts pg 290 - 7.17.08 when C Beasley goes back to take evidence into custody it is interesting that CA tells her that she retrieved the laptop from KC's car. Then goes on to mention "she noticed a strong, unidentifiable odor in the car". " The scent was also evident on some of the items she gave me."

I also noted that the "disposition" of the report, the box marked pending is checked.

(Bold mine.) Is this a different laptop than the one Lee retrieved from Tony's apartment that had the BSOD (blue screen?)

I also wondered that and re-read that over a couple of times and concluded that its the way the sentence was constructed. imo it meant they retrieved the laptop (the one lee retrieved), the vehicle and items that were (retrieved from the vehicle.) Check it out again and tell me if you come to that conclusion as well?

Me too. I think LE took pictures of everything not knowing what might be important later on down the path. I have a feeling this picture may be about as important as the picture of the bookcase in one of the the bedrooms that had a book in it about a child who was murdered. I think we might be grasping here. . . but we never know until it is fully explored. moo

Jmo, I see what looks to be a dark wet patch on the left side? A break in the plants that looks like it may be repeated near the posts. And an absence of red stones lining up on the right side? (I hate to come in here, it hurts my heart for poor little Caylee, but do want to look at Casey like one looks at a creepy bug or disease under a microscope, and scream how does this happen??)
