To add to the bed story: Just my suspicions here, but I also have my doubts that the mattress was on the floor in the master bedroom before LE responded to the 911 call. Maybe the mattress usually sat on the bedframe in Haleigh's room. Who knows?

I suspect LE would have a pretty good idea if the mattress had only been added to the master bedroom that evening. If it had been in there for awhile, there would be a pretty good imprint on the carpet. If it was just added there that night, the imprint wouldn't be very "deep" or well ingrained into the carpet. (Does that make sense)?

I realize that a toddler mattress isn't that heavy, but add the weight of a child sleeping on it - possibly two kids jumping on it during the day, etc. If it had been there for awhile, it would have left some type of deep impression in the carpet, IMO.

It makes perfect sense to me. Thank you. I wish we did know more about what LE knows. I hope we all aren't assuming that LE knows so much more on this case and then we find out that they are totally clueless. That would be verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry Baddddddddddddddddd.

I wondered about that as well, lone. Why was there a toddler mattress for Haleigh and not for Jr ? They were only a year apart. I'm assuming that DCF demanded that the children have their own beds.

I've been wondering that as well. Also, I think that children sleeping with you and also sleeping beside you on the floor would play havoc with the relationship between two young adults (boyfriend and girlfriend), Kwim?

Patty G. I certainly don't doubt you at all. Not everyone's place is set up the same nor do they have to enter just to service the unit. From what I understand this guy had serviced many units that day, all of the homes that were under the management. Maybe he was simply changing filters.

Come think of it, if he were there, then he was also next door, since it is owned by the same person. Maybe he saw something. Anyway, let's hope he was inside but I have my doubts on a routine service call. If they were experiencing a problem I am sure he went inside.

One day maybe we will all find out.

Yep, but when Ron was gone, it was probably easier to just let them sleep with her. I can't remember seeing Jr's room in any of the tours, can you ? I really think DCF would have expected a bed for each child.

I agree, the change in story from the single bed to the mattress on the floor is puzzling. Why just bring the mattress in the room ? Are toddler bed frames heavy ?

Thanks, TG..I couldn't find it.

Thank you. It appears then that in no link is there a statemnet that Ronald Cummings was seen working the entire 10.5 hour shift at PDM. That is the issue that has been in question. He was at work..he was seen...no one was with him the entire time...at least we have no link stating so...LE has not said what crime was committed or when it was committed.

Since Day One, the Putnam County Sheriff's Office said it believes the girl was abducted from the home hidden beneath towering trees near the end of a sparsely populated rural dirt street.

~Snip~

"We have to operate on several theories. Stranger abduction is one of them," Maj. Gary Bowling said. "We are investigating every possibility. There any number of things that could have happened."

Police have said they think Haleigh was abducted but have provided few details.

Now, how do we reconcile the fact that RC has done a 180 turn of the sleeping arrangements?

We have heard him say to Nancy Grace the chldren were sleeping in the same bed with Misty.
We have looked at the Police Report and it states Misty informed them the children were in bed with her.

Three days later they both change the story up when they go on the air with Greta. It didn't look like it was going to change until we see Ron interrupt Misty and tell her where Haleigh was sleeping. Things that should make you go Hmmmmmmmmmm.

These are clear facts and not opinions....hard to challange them!

Here is the thing with LE and the crime committed:

LE uses the words "They believe" , "They think"

Unfortunatley it does not sound like LE knows what has happened, as far as what crime has been committed.
I sure hope Ron , Misty, Crystal start getting out there more in regards to Haleigh. I do have hope that now that the attorney's have bowed out. JMO

The filter for the central air-conditioner/heat pump is in the house. On normal routine maintenance on AC, they come in the house to adjust the thermostat in order to check the AC unit outside.

Plus we also have the March 16 2009 video of the NG interview where he contradicts what he first told her in the February 11 2009 video.

I just don't understand the reason PCSO won't arrest him and Misty for giving out false infomation. Isn't that obstruction of justice?

Or lying to police in an investigation. Wasn't that the charge they first jailed Casey on ?

But, I expect that the lies have to be told directly to LE and Ron/Misty may have just declined to answer some of LE's questions. We know that Misty, at least, is very well aware of her rights with LE. I never would've realized you can refuse to answer and you can just leave an LE interview. But Misty knew that. How a 17 year old would know something like that is an interesting thought. Was she coached ? If so, by whom ? Did that same person(s) also coach Ron on how to avoid answering sensitive questions and thus avoid charges for providing false information ?

I would think LE would advise her before the interview that she is not under arrest and she is free to leave at anytime.

I think the first is more likely than the last, but it's just an opinion.
