If that were the case, wouldn't there be an announcement that she was located safely, nothing further, case closed?
Don't know the routine in Australia but that is the case in the US.
Even if an individual left on their own accord, it's announced, without stating how or where, for privacy reasons.

Yes, they would be saying that 'Samantha has been located safe and well. We would like to thank the community for their assistance'. That is what we usually see when a missing person has been located safe and well.

imo

That's what is so odd about her being removed from the VicPol website. So the question is why?

She wouldn't be removed from the police website on the belief of suicide without finding her body. They would need her body to make that determination, so police are not treating it as a suicide.

Not suicide, no body, no evidence, no digital trail, no smart watch data ... maybe police are updating their information to widen the search for information, like something someone saw a month ago that looked out of place.

I also feel that if she had been found - there would be something communicated. Cannot untangle it (pages taken down) logically. I suppose the only thing is that info in the original posts were either incorrect or likely to impact a future conviction opportunity.
Maybe the original time line has changed?

Supposed to be an update on channel 7 news shortly, but it doesn't sound like anything substantial!
There is this reel that 7 News released today .. but it says Police still have no leads etc ..

Different to that one, husband too upset to speak but, just a recap really ...

I also wondered if maybe the family wanted them removed…? But then I think “why wouldnt they want to keep her name at the forefront of everyone’s minds.” I can’t make sense of any of it. Id love to be a fly on the wall at VicPol (or maybe I wouldn’t)

Apparently the news pages on the VicPol website auto remove after 7 days and only long term mispers appear on the missing page. Anyone know if this is fact? (Moo)
Maybe one of the media personnel that read here, may be able to address this dilemma we have regarding the information disappearing?

IMO

That makes sense. All other news is only 6 days old.

Police seemed to be very sure that she left the house,7am, there is no evidence pass that point to where she goes jogging in the forest, I'm sure like every country town the people are willing and very happy to talk to the police about gossip and also cars in their area, stranger or a local waiting for her ,only a woman can know the terror of something like that
