Which HGTC campus did Amber attend? Was it the Grand Strand campus in Myrtle Beach or the one in Conway? The one in Myrtle looks like its right off of 17.

Regarding her school and the exams she took, those as far as I know happened on the Thursday the day before the murder. At least that is how the article put it when the friend said he call her the day before she was killed so she could study. Its funny though because in the same article it says she had just finished her exams 2 days before. anyway the point being, as far as I know and what I've seen reported she had nothing school related the day she was killed.

Cape Landing Apts is an old address. One sec, I saved the addresses from the record. I posted her latest address from 2011 when using the police record but my post was removed. I think it was removed bc somebody else is probably living there now. so I'll take out the exact number of the condos and apartments & just put the street for each. Hopefully that helps us. We know she lived in Little River bc that's what her obit says. We just don't know if she changed apartments again.

Note - Not sure if she lived at Horseshoe or not but she could have used it as a mailing address. It's a close family member's place, so she could have lived there prior.

Amber was moving out of her old apartment & in with her mother at the time she was murdered, correct? Anybody remember?

You're right! I remember something about her friend Michael calling her in the morning. It must have been the morning before bc he said he was calling to wake her up so she had some extra time to study. Thank you!

I know I read Amber was in the process of moving or packing, something to that effect. I thought I read she was moving out of her place bc her lease was expiring & she wanted to save money for her upcoming wedding that summer. Moving in with her mom? Am I misremembering? What in the world am I thinking of? I'm trying to remember...looking for an article or interview saying friends were supposed to help her either start or finish packing. Seriously can't remember.

When I searched his name in court records, he has quite a few of his own cases where he is a defendant. He is attached to a Little River address that is very close to where AB was found dead. He is 53 and may have a 19 yo son with same name. This case is where he appears to be the arresting officer(it is her only criminal case in Horry Co.) AB actually had to bond out... It was the destruction of property case with the second charge of disorderly conduct. In addition, in 2011 Amber moved to or was associated with an address in Little River. (As others have noted)

Perhaps, this criminal charge affected or was about to affect her job opportunities?

The precinct is extremely close to where she was recovered. That is the address listed.

I am totally thinking Amber was killed by a mag light. Yes, one LE carry. I just wonder about that Old Sanders Rd.

We need locals to provide insight about who exactly uses that road. I want to know if LE set up speed traps on that Firetower Rd.

Broad daylight, on that road, this murder....possibly an attempted abduction gone astray right away leading to murder.

Did Amber foul up the plans of her would-be abductor?

I know someone who was brutally clubbed over the head with a mag light and murdered. Her murderer was a military Colonel in charge of an entire airbase, one who flew the Queen of England and the Prime Minister around.

YES, it is indeed possible that Amber was murdered by someone with a law enforcement background. It is an area to explore.

I wonder what time the bus comes through there at?
