LE must have reasons for naming him as the POI...hope they can make an arrest soon and we see some real movement in this case. I feel he is quite possible a serial killer, though, one who is unlikely to reveal her wherabouts. JMO

I wonder where he was when Allison Foy was murdered in Wilmington in 2007, and her body was found alongside another murdered woman. According to google, that is only 70-some miles from Myrtle Beach.

Hopefully they'll find Brit's body, I hate typing that, and they'll be able to connect him to both murders. I think you're right though. The guy came across country and I doubt his first incident and these incidents are his only crimes. JMO

I wonder if they have a DNA sample of his and have entered into CODUS?

I know it's the same guy whose hotel room they searched, but I recall them having several persons of interest in the Georgetown area months and months ago. We honed in on one group of folks, but I wonder if this is who they really meant and we were wrong?

Myrtle Beach Police Capt. David Knipes wrote, "FoxNews.com has an article on their website concerning the Drexel case.

Let me advise everyone, all at the same time, that there is no new information on this case. Mr. Moody was a person that was investigated in this case. His hotel room was searched last year and he is one of many people that we have investigated during the course of this investigation. This is still an active investigation and we continue to follow any and every lead possible. There is no further information to pass on."

I guess we can hope they found something of interest after waiting for test results...but if they did, it was not enough to charge him, apparently. Maybe, for example, they found an item of clothing similar to what Brittanee was last seen in, but it ended up not having any of her DNA on it? And then they have the traffic ticket to show he was in the area within a day of her being abducted. I am just guessing, obviously, that they may have found something, or else, it could just be that he can't be ruled out, which is a sad thought, as that may mean they never get enough to charge him (assuming he is guilty-and he sounds "good" for her abduction/death to me, as well as possibly others.) JMO

I hope they look at him for all the disppearances of women in NC and SC in the past 7 or so years he has been out of prison, as he may have been careless somewhere.
