Interesting radio show. I could have listened to Dawn Drexel for another hour. It was interesting to hear some of the timeline of BD when she was in Myrtle Beach.

Just a reminder that you can listen to the show on archive.

Im not a 100% sure about the time line but how come no one mentions the kid that she went to his hotel room with . I thought that was the very last person to see her remember he is the the guy that didn't remember seeing her untill a few weeks later then he found either a short video or a picture on his cell phone . But no one ever mentons him. It's allways botherd me that he never came forword untill he finds one pic even when it is all over the news that police wanna hear from anyone that even seen her surely he remembered she was in his hotel room and then a girl he knows disappears shouldn't that have been enough for him to come forward and say ya a seen britanee weather he had a picture or not and why take 2 weeks or however long it was to acidently remember u took a pic of her . Maybe iam way off in my time line and this was like the first night so it wasn't of importance but I thought he was last to of seen brit and him waiting not coming forword seems I don't know fishy to me .

I think the kid that shot the video in the hotel room was from the night before she went missing. If I'm not mistaken which would have been a Friday night. Dawn Drexel says in radio interview that BD spent most of Saturday with Peter B from Rochester.

Ya I remember that for some reason I thought they had said on the Disappeared program that she was seen one more time after she left PM and then they showed the little clip of her sitting on the balcony .I am the same though i cant recall the timeline if i get a chance ill have to hatch the disappeared show again its at the very end i believe that they show that part.

I'm pretty sure they investigated him and and cleared him.

so glad that the show was archived, it was fantastic. Even though majority of what Dawn talked about has already been previously mentioned a dozen times, I still feel like we received new information. I wasn't aware that Brittanee spent majority of that last day with PB.. had no idea whatsoever. Also, I didn't know Dawn's feelings toward the Ray Moody situation and her believing he wasn't involved. I've never been able to find the Dr. Phil episode where he profiled Brittanee's case and had Dawn & PB on the show.. I've had an extremely difficult time trying to find it online. I've seen short clips here and there, but never the full thing. So, to hear her mention more about the show was very insightful.
My heart was literally breaking when she was talking about Brittanee's siblings, and the little brother donating his own money to the search to find her. It's so sad to hear her talk about how miserable Brittanee was down there, and how none of the kids in the group bothered to stick around to help look for their missing "friend".. didn't even stick around to apologize for whatever happened, or to tell Dawn "I hope you find her"... not even to pass out one flyer.

Major prayers for Brittanee, Dawn, and the rest of the friends and family- praying for new lead(s) in the case, and praying for answers that are desperately needed. Even though her family is still living in an ongoing nightmare, it's inspirational to see the strength they have to be able to put themselves out there and help other families who are living that exact same nightmare.

Dawn Drexel said the group left Rochester on a Thursday and that night they went to Klub Kryptonite? Talk about a long day. Dawn Drexel said BD was invited to a VIP room at the club and was paraded around or something to that effect. Odd. I was a bit surprised at what she said about RM also.

Me too Farmhand,
Dawn Drexel ,must have access to much more than we have ,but she does seem set on the possible involvement or at least knowledge of some of those people that Brittanee travelled with and also PB.

I just cant see the human trafficking route to be honest but what do I know?
I still think that RM is a prime target, he would be for me if I was investigating likely suspects.

Dawn thinks Brittanee was showcased. I think she means she was invited up to the lounge in order for a white slaver to check her out and get a bead on whether or not she'd be controllable and the like. JMO

Well PM didn't run in the middle of the night and leave stuff behind. PM won't talk to police. Everybody who went with Brittanee supplied a different story or three to Dawn or the cops.

I just called the Democrat and Chronicle and spoke to someone who would have the ability to assign a reporter to start asking questions. I had sent him an email yesterday with a link to the radio show and they hadn't listened to it yet. So I gave him a Cliff's notes version of what Dawn said.

He asked me what my interest in the case was. I told him that I'm a crime buff and that this case has bothered me a lot because it's local. I also told him that I had pre-interviewed Dawn for the radio show and there were things she brought up to me that she didn't on the radio show. I didn't tell him what they were because I felt that would be unprofessional. I did suggest he call Dawn.

I would love to have a local reporter start checking this thing out. Start asking questions of those who went with her.

Steely,
So, if we were to go on gut feeling, would you be of the feeling that Rochester locals were involved?

I read that it was a 14 hour drive to Myrtle Beach, do you know what time Brittanee left Rochester?
So am I right in thinking the girls Brittanee went with were not friends, just known to her from being local?
Sorry for the questions, I know a fair bit about happenings post BD going missing but not much on the pre trip history.
thanks

It's my opinion that the people who went know A LOT more than any of them are saying. This is why, I believe, none of us really know what happened during that trip.

I think there are many, many questions that need to be asked and have been never asked or were asked inadequately. JMO

Thanks Steely Dan,
But, why were these questions never asked of the girls in particular, I know LE spoke to PB but I havent really seen much about the interviewing of the girls, i can understand Dawn Drexels concerns, there does seem to be a lot of unanswere questions as well as a strange behaviour about the Rochester group doesn't there?

My main doubt about them having much involvement, would be, how would they be "recruited" if thats the correct word, to get involved in trafficking, I know money talks, but its a big stretch to think that these girls would be willing to get involved and then to put the person in place to make it possible.

It does make sense in a lot of ways, the boys group leaving so quickly and the girls not making any comment, but these are young kids, surely one would have spoken out or slipped up over time, they were hardly hardened criminals were they?

IIRC, PB gave three different stories to DD about part of the trip. I also think that if PB did sell her off that he could keep the other girls in line by threatening to do the same to them. I could also see him or someone threatening them if they talked at all. JMO

Well, I just have to say that Brittanee's disappearance is the case that brought me to WS. In the beginning, it had seemed to be strange to me that these girls were not particularly fond of her, but yet wanted to invite her on this trip. Then it came out that pictures were posted on FB and they listed everyone in the pictures but Brittanee's name was always omitted.

This is OT, but waaaaay back in the late 60s, there was a girl in our area that was known for stealing other girls' boyfriends. One day some girls invited this girl out to "go cruising" on a Friday night. She thought they actually wanted to be friends with her, but instead, they took her out behind a grocery store, beat her up and cut her hair off and left her there.

So I am not saying these "friends" Brittanee rode to MB with had direct involvement but girls can be very vendictive and it seems they would want to at least talk to Dawn and tell what they may know. Sometimes I used to tell my own daughter that teen girls actually seem meaner than teen boys. My opinion though.

My only problem with this being the 14 locals even if only a few really had the true knowledge of what happend in the end. I just can't see them all being quiet surely if only by other friends back home they were all OMG what happend once they returned to school that 14 soon becomes 28 then 35 theres no way they all would be quiet if only to LE exspecially when they come back what is it like 12 hours from myrtle the fear would be gone about any reprecussion by who ever played roles in this . That's what leads me away from the so called 14 or whatever the number is..

Yep,I have 0 interest in any high school reunions.

There are still billboards up in MB .I was there yesterday . I bet her family never imagined this would drag on .
If the girls know anything ,I hope they come forward as they mature and enter different phases of life.
I can't imagine everyone in a group would keep quiet forever.
Ugh! that sounds like a bad movie.

On April 26, 2009 RM was stopped in Surfside Beach, SC for speeding. He was doing 45 mph in a 30 mph zone while riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He was stopped at the intersection of 16th Avenue North and North Cherry Drive. The spot is less than a quarter of a mile from Highway 17 and about 5 miles from the area that BD went missing which was April 25, 2009. The interesting thing about the ticket is the address written on it. It is 4257 S Fraser Street, Georgetown, SC. As we now know he moved into the Sunset Lodge Apartments, apartment 22 on April 24, 2009. The address for Sunset Lodge Apartments is 3376 S Fraser Street, Georgetown, SC. The distance between the 2 places is 1 mile and both are very close to the Georgetown County airport. Most times as a person moves he or she is expected to be moved out by the end of the month. It is most likely RM was living in both places during this time period as I would guess he was moving in and moving out at the same time. Is there a possibility he was maintaining 2 residences for a period of time? The place at 4257 S Fraser Street looks a nice little house and is a little more secluded as it is tucked in the trees next to Highway 17. Usually when a person gets stopped the first thing the cop asks is if the address on your license is current. Obviously this was not the case for RM. If he would have given the cop his new address I would think the cop would have written it down on the ticket. Is there a reason why he didn't give him the new address?
