Ok, I re-read my posts on this LLLindsayy and what I posted was that I believe PB is lying about that. Utter lie in my opinion. I posted and bolded his crap:

Peter Brozowitz says, “First of all, I did talk to Brittanee, as to why she was walking the strip by herself. Earlier that day she said oh for the last three nights I walk by myself. It doesn’t bother me, I’m fine. I’m like I didn’t go anywhere by myself because it’s pretty bad down there. Second of all, when she left the hotel, the sun was still up, and I offered, I offered her a ride and she was like no, it’s ok, it’s ok, and she acted like there’s no worry at all for her to walk again.“ Brozowitz also said he did not go to Myrtle Beach to babysit Brittanee.

I have no use for this person. That's the only thing I can say about him that can stay posted.

rd
I just went back and pulled up a couple of the still shots from the video where BD left the BWR. I know it has been discussed many times about whether the times are correct as to the exact time she is leaving hotel, last text, etc. Also has been discussed that the sun would not still be up at the time PB said it was, but if you look at those two still shots...either the sun is still up outside the front of that hotel lobby or it is just very well lit up by parking lot lights in the area directly in front of the doors. Then we have all seen the streetcam of her walking on OB and it is definitely dark. Any thoughts on this? I probably know the answer to my own question though. It is probably dark outside but just lights directly in front of lobby making it look like sun still up.

The strip is very well lit...and yeah...when I first looked at that vid I thought it was awfully bright too... But I believe it's just the lights at the front of the resort.

About 8:00 that night I can tell you there was minimal lighting from the sky...it was basically twilight/dusk and the sun was not out - as I was on the beach looking for shark teeth up until that time (when it was too dark to see)

could it be that perhaps "P" was in the same company at some time with the perps? (along with other people on the trip?) perhaps it has taken this long to dig up the locals they may have been 'rubbing noses' with??? Just a thought
This would be the guys that she was with earlier in the day at the beach. There was mention of this and we posted it in threads somewhere in 1-4 .

She mostlikely was picked up on the blvd before that next camera that never saw her thinking it was ok since she met them earlier in the day with PB.
Just my thoughts here.

I will try to write what I want to write without confusing all of you. I don't know how well I will accomplish that, but here goes:

LE says they have given two lie detector tests. I also believe I read that they said they had been given warrants to do those tests.

It seems that someone is talking to LE. I think that if someone is willing to talk that you wouldn't have to get a warrant to test them. Am I coming through clear here?

If someone says they know something, why do you need a warrant to test them to verify that? It seems that if they are volunteering the info then they would willingly take a test.

I also wonder why they haven't been able to test the other POI (possibly two of them).

All of this makes sense in my mind. How well it came out is yet to be determined...

Hi
please reread that news piece LE didnt say they had warrants do lie detector, quote from paper (Bailey said the new information has recently provided enough probable cause for search warrants and even lie detector tests that have been given to the persons of interest.) also LE has not said it is Males,no sex/race has been given out it could be all males,or females,,this how stuff gets screwd,up and today Georgetown times paper updated that LE would not give out info till they serve warrants/arrests,,they tell it after they do so, and LE has not said BD was in car,,,,they dont no as of yet how she left the area,(us as human think car) but LE has not said 4 sure,,another thing to think on,,dont rule out the PB group and collgege party (remember) and ive read all news clippings, and i feel (i maybe wrong) that these 3-4 POI may not be ones did anything, but seen/heard i feel they know what happen and who did it etc,but LE has not said that these 3-4poi did the act of crime,,,im guessing foul play in (drugs, etc) and all got scared,,,now some one is talking!!!!! But all this just my 2 scents on it,heres Gtown times update read to bottom,,

True. I suppose I assumed that they got warrants for the lie detector testing, but I suppose that with the say they worded it that they may not have. OK... so they have search warrants and have done lie detector testing. Now that that's cleared up...

also LE has not said it is Males,no sex/race has been given out it could be all males,or females,,this how stuff gets screwd

"On Friday, detectives announced three to four "persons of interest." They say they're men that Brittanee did not know. That makes the family fear the worst."

http://www.wtsp.com/news/local/story.aspx?storyid=129543&catid=8

and LE has not said BD was in car,,,,they dont no as of yet how she left the area,(us as human think car) but LE has not said 4 sure

BBM.

Our reasoning for thinking car is because somehow Brittanee got an hour south of Myrtle Beach in one hour.

,dont rule out the PB group and collgege party (remember)

I haven't ruled them out because it hasn't been proven they didn't do anything. However, my gut feeling is that even though they might know who these people are (maybe from meeting with them earlier in the week), I don't think that they knew ahead of time their intentions with B.

MOO.
I think that come the end of the investigation we will find out that these POIs are either directly or indirectly (and by that I mean were there/helped out, not just "heard about") involved. I don't think it will come out that all four of them only "know something." I'm definitely willing to accept being wrong, but that is my stance at this point.

Police have persons of interest in missing teen case
Friday, April 09, 2010 at 6:08 p.m.
<snipped>
Investigators in the case of missing spring breaker Brittanee Drexel say they've developed three, possibly four, persons of interest in connection to the teen's disappearance.

"The people we're looking at, I feel really good about because all of our little pieces of evidence ... they're all pointing in the same direction towards certain people," Myrtle Beach Detective Vincent Dorio said Friday.

But Georgetown County Investigator Chris Bailey says that all changed during the holidays. "I think the tip I received in the first part of December was the big turn around," Bailey said Friday afternoon during an interview.

Bailey, Dorio and Charleston County Detective Rocky Burke formed a task force soon after the December discovery and have spent most of this year developing additional leads. The trio, along with an outside group, Merrill's Investigations, have concentrated their efforts in an area along the Georgetown/Charleston County line.

They're describing that area as the "location of interest," and they say it's where the persons of interest live. However, detectives wouldn't provide specific details for fear of jeopardizing the investigation.

Bailey said the new information has recently provided enough probable cause for search warrants and even lie detector tests that have been given to the persons of interest. "There have been some polygraphs, but again, we can't discuss that," Bailey said. "But we're real comfortable with our (persons of interest.)"

The persons of interest, Bailey said, know what happened to Drexel. "They're suspected of being present with Brittanee, knowing her whereabouts or possible whereabouts," Bailey said.

Myrtle Beach police get break in Brittanee Drexel case
Missing teen's mom: Persons of interest found

Saturday, Apr. 10, 2010
<snipped>
Myrtle Beach police could not be reached for comment Friday night. But an investigator for the department said last year that the disappearance hascircumstances that were different from any other case he had worked on. He would not give details.

"I'm still hoping she's out there and they haven't done anything to her," Carol Wagner, Brittanee Drexel's grandmother, said Friday night.

Wagner said she plans to be in Myrtle Beach April 24 for a march from the Bar Harbor Hotel, where her granddaughter was staying, to the Blue Water. Wagner said the march is set to begin at 5:30 p.m. and a candlelight vigil will be held at the Blue Water at 7:30 p.m.

Dawn Drexel said she will not be in town for the event. Rather, she said, she will be attending a separate event in Rochester, N.Y., to mark the one-year anniversary of her daughter's disappearance. The New York event also will aim to raise awareness of missing persons, Dawn Drexel said.

Dawn Drexel said the news of the break in the case has caught the attention of Rochester media and that she is exhausted from talking with them.

Thanks for the updated article I cut and pasted this part below. I bolded parts that stood out to me.

1.) I wonder if Britt was texting about a party or something she was going to on Saturday night. Because why would the amount of text messages she sent in the days before her disappearance otherwise have anything to do with her being in Southern Georgetown County

2.) This is the first time since last year the trip to the high school was brought up. Could this student be one of the POIs.

Johnson said the evidence continues to point to southern Georgetown County as the place something may have happened to Drexel. He said that is based on the amount of text messages she sent in the days beforeher disappearance.

“She was constantly on the phone texting. Then it all stopped when she went missing,” he said. “It was like someone took the phone.”

He said a private investigation service from Maine has been hired to help in the case because they have a lot of resources such as cadaver dogs to assist local authorities.

Although searches have been conducted in Horry and Charleston Counties, the bulk of the activity has taken place in Georgetown County — and not only in North Santee.

In May, 2009, investigators working on the case made a stop at Georgetown High School. Police would not comment on the nature of their visit but other sources told the Times they were speaking to a student who said he knows someone who was with Drexel during the weekend she vanished

It was mentioned that the tip that sent this all into motion happened around the holidays (December).

Did the spirit of Christmas get the best of someones conscience??

Also, the sunglasses was there ever a mention on the DNA testing?

And how far from where the POI's are to where the sunglasses were found?

 • #252
Remember now the police said they have probable cause, this is how they were able to conduct the lie detector test. In the United States criminal court system, probable cause refers to facts or evidence that would make a reasonable person believe that a crime or wrong doing has been, is being, or will be committed.

I strongly believe the police have something solid. They might only have probable cause against 2 of the guys but know others are involved. We don't know yet, not much info has been released. But when they say 3 OR 4, it seems like they don't have all of the players yet. MBPD/GTPD, seem thorough and good at what they do. I think they have been wanting this info for a long time and their simply wanting to fry all the fish at the same time.

Let's see what happens on Monday and Tuesday, there is no way to down play this now.

First of all hi Autumdreams :)

The sunglasses they have still not reported on the DNA tests. MLatta filed a FOI reques and was sort of pushed off last week.

The sunglasses are right where the "location of interest" is same area as POIs.

Speculation only:

They are probably comparing her texting habits. They are saying that since she texted a lot before her disappearance and none after, they are probably pinpointing a time that something happened to her. That's why they said that it was like someone took her phone from her.

MOO.

I've been pondering the high school trip a lot lately. I haven't come up with anything worthwhile to say about it yet, so I haven't. But I think it could be connected. If my memory serves me right, I think it happened before December (when LE says their tip came in), but it could still be intertwined somewhere.

 • #256
It says May 2009 they went. As I recall it was shortly after BD disappeared. But they never said why they went there or what came of it.
