There's a short video of LE carrying little H to the car to go the hospital at the Twitter link.

Awww sweet little angel!

I see a few good signs here. If the local hospital just needed to do a quick basic check and could release her this fast, hopefully she hasn't been physically harmed. They seem to be driving her by car and not ambulance, and it's a male officer carrying her and not a female, and I think that's two more good signs.

The eyes and eyebrows look like the same guy to me, the nose looks very similar and the ears look close enough.

Evans has a neck tattoo in the earlier image, which shows he's not averse to tats above the neckline.

Why are people comparing the POI to the white suspect? They are clearly not the same people because I find it VERY unlikely that someone would misidentify two glaring tattoos on someone's face. Since the white suspect doesn't have those tattoos, the POI is clearly another person.

That may be the police officer that found her. She would most likely not want to let go of him....JMO

What a miracle!

Have been thinking of H since the news of her disappearance broke yesterday. So glad to see this update! Such a good, and fairly uncommon, happy ending in a case like this!

Thank you for sharing. She's looks great, imho.

I really hope she has no idea how much danger she was really in. Maybe he treated her alright.

I just can’t with this story. I have two little girls and one little boy. The thought of this happening is making me literally sick to my stomach and making tears fall from my eyes. A child stolen from her home... all the bones broken in her mother’s face... two states away... the reasons why... children being sold... SOLD... :(

Thank you God for the good news, for H’s life being spared. We won the battle but not the war. Terrifying, y’all.

I know, looking at this suspect's history, it would seem that selling H for drugs/money would be his motive, and the fact that she was still alive after so many hours. Just terrifying if that is the case if drugs can make a person so evil as to take and sell a child. Or did he plan to hold her for a ransom?
But does seem especially crazy to snatch a child from her own home in front of the mother in a suburban neighbourhood but then perhaps he knew and calculated that the mother was there on her own and wouldn't be able to protect all those children on her own, although it sounds like she put up a tremendous fight. Truly terrifying, hope he's caught very soon and the mother has a speedy recovery. Just mentally I cannot imagine how difficult it is going to be for her to live a normal life after this.

Little H in the video, cute and cool as a cucumber, God bless her, children amaze me with their resilience.

Thank God she's been found!

How puzzling. He doesn't look Hispanic to me, but he may have looked Hispanic to her. Looking at his criminal history, I'm wondering if he was high and had gotten into her home to rob it before she returned... then he became furious and beat her? But, still... why take the child? Did he not take anything from the house?

Wow! I'm sad to say I did not expect to see "found alive"! I am so incredibly happy and grateful. I hope poor baby is physically unharmed and has as little psychological trauma as possible. Oh my gosh, I can't believe she's been found!

The whole story is just sort of surreal though. So much of it just does not add up at all. Heck, I don't know how traffickers work either but this seems like a really poorly thought out way to go about it if that was the intent.

I don't think he's a trafficker....IMO...easier ways to do it.

The picture of Thomas Lawton Evans that I saw was about 8 years old, so I didn't see that as precluding the addition of new tattoos between then and now.

I also think that it wouldn't be beyond reason for someone to hang around a neighborhood and survey which homes they might target and figure out who lives there and the best time to go in for a burglary or theft or other crime.

I really think the eyes and eyebrows are very similar in both images. But, I've also read that the hispanic guy (presumably the one with the tattoos) is no longer someone they want to come forward? Maybe he's already come forward and definitely isn't Lawton Evans. So, yes, it seems the comparisons are unwarranted after all.

Taylor said investigators are trying to “unravel . . . the motive.”
