Still singing fabgod's song in my heart/brain...with great hope that someone hears it too and helps to bring Johnny home where he belongs among his caring kin.

I have posted that song/video everywhere I can think of and several of us have sent it to NG and JVM. If MSM would take the time to air it Johnny would have national exposure and ,frankly, I think he needs it. I think MSM underestimates what a great story this could be, especially if Johnny is found. People DO care that a black special needs man is missing and I don't think a person has to be child to warrant MSM's attention.

So, on the Cartersville UNCUT FB page, they found a dog in the street. As of this moment, 32 people have liked the post, 26 have commented about it and 4 have shared it. A dog! In Cartersville, GA!! Just sayin'

I'm happy that the dog has received so much attention. Hopefully he/she will be back home with it's owner soon. I'm sure they are worried to death about their missing dog! I would be.

It's just sad, isn't it? I feel so frustrated, defeated, angry, and helpless. That's all I can say about that right now....

I wish I could think of something more to do but ,with no new information, it's hard to do. I've been worrying and trying to figure out how to get this story some attention in the media. It seems hopeless and I HATE to feel hopeless. I'll keep thinking....and thinking. :dunno:

Nite everyone. Praying Johnny will be found tonight...

If Johnny is ever found or makes it home ,will we know it ? Will the media cover it? He was able to call home in the first few days . Why not today?

I am beyond sad, defeated ,frustrated . This should have been resolved by day 2. JMO

i don't know that we will know if he's located. I imagine the MBPD would be notified and there would be a press release of some kind--at least I would hope so.

It does puzzle me why he has never tried to call home again. Either he hasn't been unable to use a phone, he's incapacitated in some way, he doesn't want to call, or (hate to even think this) he's deceased. I wish we knew...

Who knew it would be this long and we still don't have any answers as to what has happened to him? The way things are going, we may never know.:anguish:

We wouldnt even know if he was back home now, would we?
There is no Facebook page anymore, CUE seemingly arent interested in replying to emails which is disappointing to say the least

This is what I dont get, CUE come down to Myrtle Beach and do a big search on the ground there, This guy is apparently special needs, yet he can evade any searches, by Dogs, experts and LE?
If Johnny had died, wouldnt his body have turned up by now? if it was a natural death, he wouldnt be hiding, he would have been in a fairly populated area or somewhere that other homeless people frequented.

Maybe he got a lift or lifts, but even so, where is he going to get food from in a strange town, with no money? he would have stood out, again if something bad had happened, he would have turned up, but nothing!

The only possible connection to my mind, is that the woman who quit her job after seeing Johnny and giving up the "Drug dealer" name, has got something to do with where Johnny is, I wonder if LE ever traced her?
Could we find that out?

OT but has anyone else been having trouble on WS today? I had to put this here because when I try to click on anywhere I lose my connection to WS. The all I see is the top of the page and nothing else. Obviously, I'm not on a time out or anything because I'm writing this (and I've been really really good) so maybe it's something with the server??

It does seem practically impossible that he's just fallen off the face of the earth and no one is able to locate him. Then again, by the time CUE got here he may have been long gone. If he was living in the woods with homeless people somewhere I can see where he could go unnoticed, but for how long?

If he was deceased I can see how a body might not be found because there are others that have never been located around here. As far as the waitress goes, I'm not sure how we could find out that information unless there was a missing person's report on her and as far as I can tell there isn't.

The reason Johnny is still missing IMO is because he hasn't gotten enough media attention. He could be in SC or GA right now and be out in the open but who would know that he was missing? Other than a couple of news stories here and one or two in Cartersville he really hasn't gotten the exposure that he needs. We can't really do much more here on WS. We can repeat all of the actions we've taken thus far (i.e. put up posters, annoy NG and JVM, FB his info, etc) but other than that I don't know what else will get his name and face out there.

We don't really know if he hasn't called home again, either. I don't know how is surviving out there, but I hope that he is...surviving.

Yes, I had a lot of trouble on WS earlier, experiencing the same thing you did...But then I had trouble on ebay too :silly:

Regarding the waitress, I do find that more than strange...it seems like a bit more than coincidence that she dropped out of sight at just that time.

Johnny, wherever you are, I pray you are safe and warm...

Sorry I haven't posted much... there's really not much more I can think to say. I feel helpless because I live so far away. I have not forgotten about Johnny, and never will. I wish there was something we could do.

If Johnny is found, we will probably never know. There might be a short mention in the news somewhere, so I guess if we keep googling every day, we'll run across it. Is anybody looking for him? I know his parents are elderly, so I understand their limitations.
I will continue praying for them and especially for Johnny, that he can come home. How sad that they have no idea where he might be.

Johnny is listed on the Black and Missing website: http://www.blackandmissinginc.com/cdad/index.cfm?MissingInfoID=1265

I think if he is found his status will be noted there. I hope Johnny is keeping warm and safe, and will be reunited with his family soon!

I hope that they or some other organization (CUE?) will let us know if he's found.

You know, it's great that there are orgs, like that one, this website, and other missing persons sites that will put up a flyer and comments about Johnny. The problem is not everyone is like us and check these sites regularly. I have had numerous friends and family, who know about this case through me, ask me repeatedly if Johnny has been found yet. They don't check the "missing" sites ever. WS probably has one of the largest amount of viewers, but I feel that Johnny is going to need some natonal coverage if he's ever to be located. He can't speak clearly, has no money, and is LOST. How can the media just ignore all that. Thank God for WS because he's talked about most every day here.

I didn't realize how addicted I've become to WS until it all went kapooie earlier.:floorlaugh:

Peek - Don't be mad at NG or JVM, as I posted earlier, they may very well have called the phone numbers on the missing poster to get more information and hit a brick wall, like we did. With all the missing people's families clamoring for attention, you have to work really hard to stand out in the crowd. What I don't like is when NG does a whole hour on some already solved crime like the 2 boys who killed Grandma for pizza money. I would much rather she spend 15 minutes on 4 seperate crimes, you know, like 2 missing people and 2 wanted people, more like AMW. Which I saw last night, by the way, they did a nice piece on Morgan Harrington who is huge here in VA. Any of you on FB who want to join the Harringtons foundation, it's called....Save the Next Girl.....very moving!:seeya:

This has always bothered me. . how do we know that Johnny called home and was able to get through??? Nobody talked to him did they?? Because nobody was home, right?? Did he leave a message on voice mail?? Is that for sure or just what someone said?? I still think that unless he used a cell phone from the home area to make that call, and being lost in MB where would he get such a cell, that he'd need an area code to reach home and since he'd never been out of Cartersville he wouldn't know the home area code. There was no reason to teach him an area code.
I know that our land lines nor cells can call another state without first dialing an area code. IMO it's misinformation that he ever called home.

You all have tried so hard and given so much time, energy and emotion..and love..to finding Johnny that it just breaks my heart what has happened to this thread. :moo: Please, God, help Johnny find a way to get home. :please:
