"This video shows that was a lie." I read that in Maury Povich's voice! Imagine confronting Alex with all his stories and hearing that over and over, "That was a lie. That was a lie. That was a lie!" LOLYes. FITS reported the video was inconsequential (it didn’t record an argument or anything related to the murders), but rather showed that Paul, Maggie, and Alex were all together at the kennels before the murders. This is important because Alex had claimed to not have seen Paul or Maggie at Moselle after returning from the hospital. He claimed to have taken a nap and then left to visit his mother in Varnville. This video shows that was a lie.
As for what Paul recorded, it’s believed he took video of a friend’s injured dog that was in the kennel.
I’ve read that there were phone calls between PM and somebody. If that’s true, it would be interesting to know about.

I think Eddie told them where to find the gun.I doubt we learn much initially but I hope the weapons information comes out. If they are found, matched up, etc..
Makes sense. I’m so ready to find out about the murders.I think Eddie told them where to find the gun.
I think they had a circumstantial case and did not feel confident taking that to a GJ. They pulled a sting operation on Eddie to get him in on steep drug charges and used that to negotiate. He gave them something they needed (my guess is physical evidence—like the gun, for example). That allowed them to have physical evidence, not just circumstantial, to take to the GJ.

I hope they gave Maggie's family the same courtesy. Somehow I doubt it.BREAKING: According to a well-placed source, SLED investigators have just left the home of John Marvin Murdaugh, having told the Murdaugh family that Alex Murdaugh would be charged this week with the murder of his wife and son.
Was Cousin Eddie involved in the murders? No, otherwise he would be locked up.
I think Cousin Eddie was summoned by Alex to bat "Clean-up" at the murder scene. He might have only been tasked with disposal of the guns, or maybe more. His testimony on what his actions were and what caused those actions will put Alex away. Is SC a death penalty state?
If so Alex could bargain for LWOP by turning states evidence on others.

It is not known whether the indictment will come from the state grand jury, which has issued numerous indictments against Murdaugh for financial crimes, or from a Colleton County grand jury. Most often, murder indictments are issued in the county where the crime happened.
“I have no official word from anybody about anything,” said attorney Dick Harpootlian, one of Murdaugh’s two lawyers.
