Does this mean we will see DEA involvement?

AM gave BM his power of attorney on Sept 23rd...wowza

I might be mistaken but it looks to me that it was actually signed on Sept 16th. See page 4 of 5. Double check me on this, but I think it was filed/recorded a few days later. But I'm definitely not an expert. MOO

The roots of the Murdaugh family crime saga run deep through these coastal towns. But no one wants to talk about it

Thank you, @sds71. I seriously think many people there could benefit from some therapy. Imagine living in a fairly cohesive place where a family’s presence was enmeshed with the history of the place, the politics, the social activities, legal matters, and so many other aspects of daily life. You wouldn’t have had to know any of the family personally to feel and be affected. Whatever people thought before all of this came out, it seems unlikely that they would have imagined all of this. What a shock that has to have been and be just to one’s sense of reality and what they’ve always thought and believed. I feel so for them all. My words—a wisp of a breeze—will not comfort them, of course, as they have to keep doing their usual activities all the while wondering when another sudden avalanche might plow them under. It’s like the locals are in an aquarium that used to feel big enough and safe enough until they realized at least one shark was inside with them—and the world was pressed up against the glass, ogling the occupants from outside while the shark that they used to think of as a dolphin or at least a not very aggressive type of shark invaded their space and sense of safety. MOO.

Yes I believe you're correct, someone else mentioned that also

Nancy Grace is supposed to be on Fox to talk about the Murdaugh family this evening.

Well all you have to do is add an I to the name of that firm (PMPED) and that says it all. BTW who in blazes would name their law firm some name like that?

JMO

Yeah! I saw that a while back and really laughed... Just didn't see how to report it.
But you ARE right... how COULD they let it stand when they first came up with it.

Especially, when they all knew they were crooked!!

I don't think any of the Murdaugh brothers were at the hospital when PM and MM were brought in, they were with AM. I'm sure one of them was literally always at his side. One of them even called Buster to tell him his Mom and brother were dead. They didn't even take the drive to tell him such horrific and tragic news in person or send a wife/aunt? AM didn't interview with SLED until 2 days later, IIRC
You could be correct. This is one cold hearted family.

To whoever was asking about the kennels, the picture in this article shows a clear view of the separated dog houses under the long metal roof.

It says D-POA which could be a Durable Poer of Attorney. DPOA is not a broad POA. It’s only for healthcare decisions should the grantor be unable to make their own, either by being unconscious during a surgery or a coma etc.
Or an accidental suicide shooting to the head? SMDH...

I haven’t read Fits, but he must have had an heir JM Boulware since AM (or Buster as POA) just certified in the last two days that JM Boulware had paid off his debt to AM (mortgage). Right??

ETA source link: search https://www.sclandrecords.com/
Search for filings 9/13/2021-9/25/2021 then look for the filings with the most recent initiation and filing dates. Or look at Boulware and Murdaugh for that period.

I thought JM Boulware was his wife, when I saw all of this yesterday I couldn't figure why Boulware would sign every single thing over to AM and leave her entirely out. Is she not still alive?

I wondered that as well. And this is out there … but maybe he signed everything she was to have in her name prior to his death. Then, when he died, AM gets everything needed to continue the drug operations. Just an idea MOO

His wife is still alive says Fitnews and they had at least two daughters

Local sources recalled how Jeannine Boulware paid “cold, hard cash” for everything she purchased – including clothes from the nicest women’s dress shops in the Lowcountry. Now residing in Beaufort, S.C., Jeannine Boulware now purchases her clothes from the “cutesy boutiques” on Bay Street. But she still pays in cash, my sources say.

Also, when the Boulware’s daughters applied for employment in the office of a local doctor, several patients reportedly warned him “to be careful because the Boulware’s were drug dealers.”

Looks like Alex Murdaugh didn’t have a drug problem for 20 years, but a drug smuggling problem …JMO

I'm a little surprised that needed to be mentioned (about the daughters), given the small-town everyone-knows-everyone-else's-business. lol

In my view, CES comes across in this video interview as earnest, down to earth, very credible. I am convinced AM set him up.
I wish they hadn't edited it so poorly. I'm still on the fence about Eddie as far as the whole truth being twisted by omissions and his denial about his possible drug dealing. Eddie's said some fierce words in print too so I don't think he's as much well-what-will-be-will-be as he seems. He seems like he'll be a bit more proactive. I hope Eddie is smart enough to stay alive. AJMO
