The lead investigator knowingly lied to the grand jury about important evidence. I can’t believe any of the state’s evidence now. Sorry. Not guilty imo
Not true. He didn’t lie. He presented the information available to him at the time. That information proved to be discredited unbeknownst to him. No lead investigator is going to willfully lie to a grand jury.

He told several lies to them. Then lied on the stand about telling the lie. Griffin made him read his lies out loud. The shotgun shell lie can’t be explained This case is over.

And be still employed.

It is far from over. Let's see what the jury decides.

What was the justification for this? Is this a legally accepted practice…to the Grand Jury?

I have been a solid GUILTY vote for a long time, but now I honestly could not convict. i read all your comments ‘trying to get that feeling again…’ but was there blood spatter as we were told? There is no evidence of impending divorce. I dont think a call to come back is necessarily ‘luring’ when you admit to being worried about your husband and his Dad is near death.

The prosecution case seems full of speculation…like they were actually unable to nail down specifics.

Maybe the media hype led me to expect a lot more. Blood spatter, forensic accountants, divorce lawyers, the ‘fishy’ comment.

He’s a liar, a thief, and an absolutely reprehensible individusl. But I would need more to convict at this point for these murders.

Maybe tomorrow….

They had pressure to charge AM. They chose to make the evidence more juicy. It’s undeniable. He told the grand jury he had other guns in the house loaded the same way with the bird and buck shots. He knew that wasn’t true. He tried to lie about it on the stand and said no, I said same brands. Griffin had him read his testimony to the grand jury.

Further. They tried to force this white shirt to be the murder shirt by shopping it around until someone said it had high velocity splatter. They had already tested and found no human blood on the shirt. They told the grand jury the shirt was the smoking gun, then changed their mind to the blue shirt once they saw the Snapchat. What a disaster

Is there any information on these "cowboys" that Griffin mentioned? If they are legit he put them in the crosshairs. jmo

I would say that I hope that the jurors are more disciplined in their thinking remembering that they are there to judge the facts in the double murder charge against AM And not falling for the ploy of the defense to distract them away from evidence. The prosecution has presented compelling evidence. And, the LE officer is not the one on trial. This is a classic defense tactic. A wise juror sees through it. Unfortunately, sometimes it works. We’ll see, I guess. But there are more cards to be played.

The fact is they lied about two pieces of evidence and it was proven imo. I understand both sides have strategies, however the investigator lied, then lied about lying until Griffin had him read his own words. Those are facts. Hocus Pocus or not. Defense hasn’t even called the first witness. We are guessing and thinking like lay jurors in walterboro remember?

I just hope they aren't an exhausted jury by the time they have a chance to deliberate. I am sure they are questioning a lot of this, since this was supposed to be a 3 week trial now they're most likely going in to a 4+ week one.

AM is one slippery character but he’s not dumb. I can imagine that he knew he’d be Suspect Number One…from those first hours. He does hand everything over quote willingly…his phone, etc.

We also know that AM is a stellar liar…for most of his life, an incredibly successful one. He has lied and hidden all sorts of criminality…from family, friends, law partners, clients.

I am no longer sure that AM‘s Big Lie is evidence of guilt. It could just be that he knows he will be a suspect, so hes protecting himself by using his most reliable skill-set…lying.
He'd have no reason to lie about the shirt (i.e. try to influence Blanca) if he was innocent.
Where is the shirt?

I believe that if we are playing this with a “lying scorecard” AW wins hands down. Meaning AW has accumulated more lies than anyone can count.

Awwwww. I think we all want to see Ole Cousin Eddie up there on the stand.
The defense isn't going to try make Eddie into the dude are they??? (SODDI!!!) ...lol

How's his alibi?

IMO this jury is anxious to come to court each day to see what else will evolve (I know I keep watching it). I don't think they mind being there at all. I think they're very interested and they sound bright and cheerful when they say Good Morning back to the Judge.
