Hell, we already have just about everything else in this trial, might as well throw some gambling in there!
And hookers.

I like how the defense tried to gaslight the judge, by showing that the Prosecution didn't in fact open the door to the roadside event.

They didn't!

The defense did.

Open door, insert foot.

Defense opened its own big old can of pork 'n beans.

And the Judge called them out on it.

Burn.

Dancing thru fire...

Defens wants to take the jury on a bird walk away from the evidence. No reaso for Eddie to testify. They have AM’s confession.

And again watching the video of AM at tree I don’t think AM knew for was being filmed, in interview he didn’t seem to be aware of the footage.
I agree that AM didn't know he was being recorded at the tree and as soon as he learned the video existed -- he immediately went to Blanca to tell her he was concerned about a photo that was out, and AM wanted to help Blanca remember that he was wearing whatever best suited AM (and not the collared shirt she fixed for him as he walked out the door)!

To me gambling is a better guess with this much money

So what exactly is AM supposed to have said at the hospital, besides yeah I faked this, that the defense doesn't want in?

I want someone to testify to what DH and JG said while AM was in the hospital. Such lies and twisting of the truth…just like they are doing now.
This supposed dream team of lawyers are an embarrassment. They have opened the door more than a Boy Scout at a senior citizen jamboree. Even first year law students know you don’t do that.
There is no way they wanted this roadside stuff in. It destroys their story of AM being an honest loving family man, connects him to a criminal underworld, identifies him as a drug addict.

There is NO WAY NO HOW that man used $50,000 worth of opioids per week. It's impossible.
ESPECIALLY in pill form

Does this move indicate that it is the defence that is in fact rather desperate to come up with any kind of credible version to combat the snapchat video?

I they can have some people on the stand to talk about the drug world connection, then perhaps AM does not need to testify and counsel can sock puppet some wild speculation about 'dangerous people"

Another oddity: they rode in different, separate trucks? Shooting? If they were both shooting, why is there no Gun Residue on him? which guns did they each use? What happened to the guns afterward? Did that actually happen? Timeline issues here regarding AW’s alibi.
AM alleged the target shooting he squeezed into this bonding time with PM was with a Magnum handgun: PM shot twice, and AM fired only once! Liar, liar, pants on fire. MOO

"I'm goin' off the rails on a crazy train!" lol
That's why we make sure the cocktail lounge car is freshly stocked each morning, numb us up in case of a crash. There is also a selection of fine Wines available.
