Clearly, the shooter would have been covered in blood and brain splatter and hit by pellets and maybe even bone - all at high velocity.

AM would know about back splatter.

I've been on MANY hunting trips in four countries and have never seen or even heard of a hunter using 7 shots for 2 kills. One shot, one kill - even on flying birds and running game. IMHO, these were not experienced shooters. It is obvious that the rifle shooter was aiming AT MM - not shooting wildly at her - and the kill zone is the chest, yet he/she hit her in the thigh? With an alleged scoped Blackout?

Not buying it.

I do not believe that there was enough time for AM to shoot them both, drive 3 football fields back to the house without leaving any evidence in whatever vehicle he used, bag up his bloody clothes and 2 long guns, shower himself well enough that he left no blood or brain matter anywhere in the house, including the shower, and was driving out of the drive by what 9"04? 06?

I do not believe he washed off at the kennel with the hose, there was no evidence of that at the scene.

That would be a no-no. But you'd think they'd have contacted the defense lawyers who would have spotted contradictions...but alas, this did not happen it seems?
I know, I'd make absolutely certain my witnesses won't contradict each other but...I don't expect anything out of them with all due respect.
MOO.

One of my favorites!!!! Bam!!!

"You've been able to lie quickly and easily and convincingly if you think it'll save your skin for well over a decade. Isn't that true?" Waters asked Alex Murdaugh. "And you want this jury to believe a story manufactured to fit the evidence that you brought forth just yesterday after hearing this trial's worth of testimony?"

I think this will end up being a win for the Prosecution.
But this is opening things up for a mistrial. If someone is standing outside the court room with a sign supporting either side, BOOM, mistrial. I feel like the defense is trying to muddy things up and confuse the jury.
They are throwing anything they can at the jury hoping something sticks for them. A lot of people believe this will end up in a mistrial. So unsettling.

If John Marvin (AM's brother) testifies, who else hopes Creighton Waters cross-examines him and asks John Marvin about why he and Buster were removing guns from the Moselle home around the same time that law enforcement were searching Moselle.

Yeah. Sure, no third party actually witnessed the shootings, but if that's what someone considers "reasonable doubt" then very few crimes would end in convictions. That tight time line seals it for me.
Not only a tight timeline, but the defendant lying about where he was.

If he really was at the kennel and rode off to the house, he didn't need to call and text several times before leaving. He was just there with them. He did that because he intended to lie and say he wasn't down there.

Also, if he was there and narrowly missed being killed himself by some internet vigilante ninja people.. then why didn't THAT freak him out? Why haven't we heard a single thing about how he narrowly missed being there or maybe if I was there I could have stopped this.. it's awful we don't know who did this and I worry for my safety and my living sons safety. Everyone else was worried like those that worked at his law firm, Maggie's sister, but not him. He was worried about clearing Pauls name. We know why.. until Paul's name was cleared his money and assets were still on the line.. the very reason they had to die in the first place was to make that case go away and then it didn't so he was still focused on that NOT fearing for himself or Buster.

Question:

AM said: "I lied about being down there. And I'm so sorry that I did."

But on the 911 he said: "Ive been up to it now -- it's bad."

I never did figure out which was lower elevation, the house or the kennels???

This should have never been tried in this County. They should have moved it as far away from there as SC will allow. If they cannot find him guilty with what we have seen, they were never going to find him guilty. Are they afraid of the Family? I guess we will see.

How in the heck will they keep the jury from starting deliberations as they look at the scene at Moselle? Are they going to be forbidden to speak on the site and in the coach? Theoretically I don't have problem with them seeing the scene, I just don't know how they control the situation. Guess I need to trust our most wonderful Judge Newman. MOO.

Yes the waist.
As someone said earlier, he was prolly looking for his pills.
And says he tried to turn Paul over by the belt loop. (pills in Paul's pocket?)

Question:

During field trip I’m understanding nobody will be with them on either side to make Any statements, and the jurors are not allowed to discuss the case with each other, so are they relying on the jurors remembering the scenes they’ve been shown from the trial? It’s easy for us because many of us have studied every detail online including drone footage.

Murdaugh says the dogs weren't acting strange like anybody else was around -- like dogs do. Murdaugh says definitely there was nobody else around while he was down there. He took the chicken from Bubba, put it up on the shelf, came back to the golf cart and eventually left. Murdaugh can't remember the specifics of the conversations he had with Maggie and what words he used. He's sure he told her he was leaving.
[Snipped by me]

If AM is sure he told MM he was leaving before he hopped on the golf cart, why then did he also send her a text saying that he was "leaving to go to his mom's" only a few minutes later? Doesn't make sense.

Their own witness just referred to “the defendant “ as the killer.
I missed this! My brain was turning to mush listening to that drivel and I had to step away. Darn it!

IMO

I think the kennels are at a lower elevation than the house although everything is pretty flat. The house looks like it’s on a bit of a rise.
I think he used “up” in the sense of like walking up to someone. “I walked up to the preacher and said…”
