GUILTY SD - Phyllis Hunhoff, 59, Yankton, 4 November 2018 *ARREST*

Police say Phylis Hunhoff, 59, was last at her mother's house in Utica, S.D. at around 9:00 p.m. Sunday night.

She never made it to her home in Yankton and did not show up for work this morning.

Phylis is described as wearing faded blue jeans and a purple coat.

She has no known medical issues.

She seems to spell her name with two 'l's but the police are spelling it with one so don't know which is correct.

Public records have it with two "l"'s. The drive from her mother's address to hers is only 15 minutes. Other than the river in Yankton which she wouldn't have to cross to get to her home, there's no water and it's mostly flat and rural, a car off the road would likely be spotted. This one is puzzling.

Other than the river in Yankton which she wouldn't have to cross to get to her home, there's no water and it's mostly flat and rural, a car off the road would likely be spotted. This one is puzzling.

It's possible she went somewhere else instead of home. Did some late shopping? ATM? Does she have a husband or boyfriend? Or maybe she went to visit a friend?

There was a prisoner that escaped a few days before she went missing. I was wondering if there might be a connection. He obviously would want to get out of the state. Authorities looking for escaped Yankton inmate

Interesting FB conversations but nothing on media pages. Planes were out today and there is an active search for her tonight. Saying a prayer that they find her.
There is also a more active FB page but older (2015).
She is related to the former sheriff so thats good.
Hopefully this is not an unfound traffic fatality. I have no idea of the area

IMO, I doubt that she was married or just left on her own. Perhaps she had a medical emergency or car accident.
I pray that she is found quickly and in good health. She seems like a very good woman.

What facebook conversation were you referring to? Her personal facebook page has no comments at all. Does she have a "missing" FB page? Thanks!

Weird, I can no longer see the coversations. Theyve either been made private or deleted. If you search this page, you will see a missing post with some comments underneath that might explain why the search has been called off. A lot of what I saw last night is now gone
