Probably not wanting any curious people contacting her, and maybe LE are protecting her ? After all, her spouse was just murdered.
I'd imagine as co-owner she'd be able to temporarily steer the company, or take charge as someone has to run it ?

The business page manager may also be crucial for helping the company in the following days.

I feel for those employees . If this had happened elsewhere it'd still be tough to handle ; but in your daily place of work ?

And that poor employee who called his mom. I don't know if he is the one who discovered the scene.
But, yeah, I might have to quit and look for employment elsewhere.

I agree. Poor guy. That has to be very traumatic! I wouldn't be able to go back there either........

Interesting and probably not related but someone employed by RJR had been arrested about a year ago for terrorizing, no details though.

Tysm @zecats I haven’t had time to read latest news updates, I’m out of the loop.
I was not certain if the company truck was stolen or if an employee drove it off the lot or exactly what is going on with the truck. Only that it was captured leaving.

I can only find info that doesn't give exact time.

Police: 4 killed in North Dakota office building, suspect still at large

Darin Helbling, a manager at a nearby bowling alley, said police asked to see his business' surveillance video. Helbling said the video showed only a couple of vehicles on the road that separates the businesses since 10 p.m. Sunday.

Was info changed? This is all I'm finding now on MSM.
Robert & Jackie Fakler: 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know | Heavy.com

The manager of a nearby bowling alley, Darin Helbling, told the AP that the police had come to him to ask to see his outside surveillance videos. One report says that Helbling’s surveillance video shows a truck pulling into the RJR parking lot at around 7 a.m. Four minutes later, an RJR company truck pulled out of the business.

No other cars pull into the building until the police showed up at 7:30 a.m., according to the AP’s report on the video.

Welcome @Trudie I read that too and it is linked up thread earlier, but every updated MSM article now states what I posted with timeline after 10pm...more vague.

Earlier reports said and a pickup truck pulled in close to 7am and then an employee truck pulled out shortly after. No mention that I've seen of truck returning. With a crime scene in place, maybe no one was allowed back. Investigation took a long while.

Thanks for finding that @Tillicum ...I've been searching for that version. All updated versions of MSM have changed the story (time). Perhaps DR spoke too freely earlier and was asked to rephrase...Any thing suspicious enough that this info should be kept from the public? JMO

ETA 4 minutes doesn't give enough time to be part of this crime.

A few thoughts:
-unless I missed it, i haven’t read that the surveillance shows just one person in the truck that arrives. The married victims would commute together, maybe they carpool?
-unless I missed it, I haven’t read that the surveillance shows the occupant of the civilian truck necessarily being the same person that leaves in the company truck... maybe the person who left in the company truck left a fresh batch of coffee for the arriving victims?
-if the victims were shot or stabbed, I would think that crime scene investigation would take longer than a few days, not to mention clean-up. Carpets would have to removed, etc. Poison is not messy.

MOO JMO

Okay, so the truck pulling in was most likely an employee that basically parked his vehicle & promptly left in company truck?

I can’t help it. I keep checking this thread for updates. Refresh.....refresh.......refresh......

IMO and in my area, it is very common to mail rent payment or use drop box, really no reason to see office personnel.
I think the office will be open in the sense someone will process mail, post payments & schedule mtn., I doubt the doors will be unlocked & open to the public.

To my knowledge, nothing actually says this, but it has been assumed.

I could be wrong, but a truck pulling in was seen and four minutes later, a company truck was seen leaving or some such. No number of occupants, nor anyone seen or described getting out of the one or getting into the other either. We can do with that as we will. Judging by other cases, I would not assume anything, we never see nor hear about all video, etc. at this stage. That is very much just my opinion though. It seems like video mentioned or released is usually innocuous or put out to see what results from comments without putting out too much while investigating. Again jmo.

I’m speculating only. Thinking 4 minutes is about enough time to transfer to a different vehicle.
I wanted to be sure there was not a bolo on the company truck. Tysm

Yes, FB page update stated that - to bring rental checks to drop box starting tomorrow. Hope it's a drive-thru.

I get the feeling that the owner had a great sense of humor.
Sad that this happened.

I think it speaks well of their employees that they're not out there giving interviews. We know they have to know a lot more than the public does and it seems they're doing their part in respecting the investigation.

"Police are asking members of the public to contact police at 701-667-3250 or use the tip line at mandanpd.com if they have video surveillance from the area or saw anything suspicious. Mandan police and the North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation have completed the investigation at the crime scene and sent evidence for processing and analysis.

Ziegler said Mandan police will work closely with the BCI on the investigation. The department also has received offers of resources from other local and federal law enforcement agencies, Ziegler said.

Investigators are following up on leads and plan to reinterview more than 30 people, Ziegler said."

I get it totally. I at first thought truck pulls in another pulls out and went with the obvious--same person, but then realized they never actually said that. Just that one pulled in at this time. Another pulled out at that time. Very little info on this case, no info, no cause of death, not much of anything. imho. Not even sure why the truck thing was shared because little else has been. To the best of my knowledge. Again, just from what I have seen.
