Found Deceased Shana Alison DiMambro Last Seen 7/19/22- 7 AM in Her Home,100 block Mitchell Street, Spring Branch

These are private properties, some of them large plots of land covering many acres, where the owners do not live on the property itself, so it’s not always as simple as knocking on front doors and asking for permission to search the property. And of course search parties, with or without the police, cannot search private property without permission, or in the case of police, without permission or a search warrant.
But a block from her RV? Sounds like somewhere in the vicinity of another RV in the RV park ... hopefully we’ll know more soon. Moo

What if she walked away?

I don't know anything about the body of water nearby but it should be checked if it hasn't been MOO

For discussion sake, if she was found in this body of water, what would that make you think in terms of cause of death? I’ve leaned heavily towards suicide thus far, but seeing this map with the body of water…. Is there any realistic circumstance where we might find a dead body in a body of water and the COD is suicide? It seems unlikely. <modsnip>

I always so hope it’s not going to be yet another intimate partner at fault.
I would imagine that this retention pond may be dry at this point, due to the weather

I wonder if it had enough water 10 days ago to cover a body but has now dried up sufficiently to expose the body, if that makes sense.

Also, the RV park listed on this map isn’t the actual place where she lived. The RV park where she lived was VERY close to her RV park. Definitely within a block.

There have actually been several cases that have ended up that way, several women that I can remember. I wish I could remember the exact cases right now, but there was a doctor I believe it was near New York, I believe she just walked into a lake and it was self harm.

<modsnip - discussing/refuting family member’s possible involvement is a violation of TOS at this time>

You may be thinking of Tamara Saukin who was walking with her mother in NY in Nov 2020 and was later found in the water. IIRC, she had lost, at least temporarily, her license to practice as a doctor. I never understood how she could will herself to drown in such cold water.
Sorry to hear what appears to be a tragic outcome for Shana.

Yes that's the one, thank you!

There was also a very accomplished married mother of 2, last summer I believe, somewhere in Texas, who did the same thing. Went out for her regular morning walk and was later found in the subdivision pond.

ETA: Body of reigning Mrs. Dallas pageant queen was found in lake
Not sure if this is who you are thinking of but there was a mother of two, ran her own sewing/clothing site...very successful & beautiful. She drowned herself in a lake. Border of North and South Carolina. Edit-I just now see your link. Different woman but such similarities. The woman I'm thinking of was Indian and had a blog that focused on fashion, kids, sewing, etc...
