Sheri Coleman's mother, Angela DeCicco, was alone when the LaGrange Park Police called her May 5 and informed her of the deaths earlier that morning of her only daughter and only grandchildren, according to court records.

Neither she nor her family heard from her daughter's husband for more than two days afterward, when Chris Coleman called his brother-in-law and agreed to allow the remains to be transported from Randolph County to Cook County for a funeral. He then changed his mind, according to an affidavit filed in Monroe County Circuit Court.

Coleman's attorneys Art and Bill Margulis could not be reached for comment Tuesday.

I was wondering the same thing -- what is in that direction? Loose thoughts:

Is he going to pick out a head marker for the family?

Is he being taken to a family cabin where he can take some time out to recuperate (are there guns in that cabin, and ammo?)

My guess is that unless LE can pretty well predict where they are going, they will be forced to arrest him soon. Where is the helicopter at this point?

Is it possible that Chris said, "Take me to the cabin dad, I have some business to do"?

They did this to Scott Peterson.

MCS does it when they want to make sure their main suspect is not going to run. They also do it to see if they can piss the suspect off to see what type of temper level they have. Plus it makes people in the community that might not be willing to talk to MCS to eventually talk. They start thinking that maybe the person did do it it after all if they are being watched 24 hours a day by MCS.

Besides I am glad the have him under 24 hour surveilance because it makes many of us here in the community feel safer.

They sure aren't there for security are they? Or we'd be seeing uniforms in marked cars. I can't recall a MCS literally sitting on top of a suspect like this.

I-55 South from St. Louis provides several means to getting into Chester, IL. I thought I read somewhere that is where he was staying. One is the ferry at Perryville, but I think Cape Girardeau also has access to IL, and from there he could get back to Chester.

I couldn't watch that video but I have heard of this before. While I think the guy was plain stupid for not having a knife on him especially when he was bow hunting, I do realize a wounded deer is a formidable enemy and hunters have been attacked and killed by them.

Whomever videoed it was an idiot too but I think they wanted to video it in case the brother got hurt by the deer and they would have it on film. Sick? Yes, but people make sickening videos all the time.

I understand and agree with most of what you are saying, but there are seasoned hunters who watched this video (at their wives request ) and they were disturbed by it too. I don't think they were scared, they appeared to be enjoying themselves. Yes there are many sick videos on the internet but, IMHO, that doesn't justify their depravity.

I just keep hoping that those caskets will be lowered in a family plot in Chicago. Maybe that is silly of me -- but were it my only daughter and grandchildren, I would be feeling that way based on the surrounding circumstances.

Unless they are worried about him skipping town, I think this is a waste of time don't you? I mean, c'mon, if he is guilty there is no way he is going to risk making a stupid move now.

The other way of thinking about this is making their presence known, which could potentially add stress to the situation for CC if he is guilty. I'm sure police have employed this tactic before with some successful results.

I am worried about his taking a trip to the bridge and jumping.

Looking on the map, there is nothing much after you pass Cape Girardeau. I-55 heads right into AR and TN. There is nothing except small towns along the way that I can see on the maps.

OH boy, I have been thinking all morning that his dad would pray over him, guide him through repentance and then absolve him to commit suicide (so twisted) to save face and protect the church.

FWIW, what makes that video even creepier, IMHO, (yes, I did watch it a couple of times and can still envision it in my mind),..........anyway, what makes it even creepier, is that Sheri and the kids were then found strangled, just like in the video,.......................AND........................now we're hearing they may have been strangled from BEHIND!!!!!

OhMyGosh! It's almost too much thought to bare!
