I would think a head security guy for such a target as JMM seems to be,should know you have to hide the dvr!!!!! I wonder in the timeline how long was spent looking 5or 10 minutes.Wow this perp was quick in locating it:bang:

The problem I have is that cc was the one reporting the threats. As far as I know, there is no evidence that this person exists. No car description, no fingerprints, nothing at all to indicate that that this is a real person.

So if he was plotting this and planning to execute it with such finesse as to get away with it and leave Coleman taking the fall, it seems the killer got the best revenge...

I know .. not a scenario anyone is even willing to consider .. giving any weight at all to the threats combined with the message left on the wall and the police stating "this family was targeted" ... "there were threats towards the family"

Horrible continuous lightening and thunder tonight. Chester is fairly high above sea level due to it sitting on Mississippi River Bluffs. The lightening strikes get pretty close to us and the whole hole house shakes when it thunders. (Like mini 2.5 to 3.0 mag earthquakes that are close to the surface)

I am have been sitting here thinking about these new search warrants. I also searched for other sources than the Chicage Tribune and I found it listed here http://twitter.com/kplr also (the article was put up at between 7 and 8pm at Kplr)
I was wondering what time JMM put the message up on her website about CC resigning and how JMM is doing everything it can for LE.

If the times are close to each other I am thinking that the search warrants were to search the JMM offices or CC's cubicle or office at JMM. JMM would request a warrant that specifies exactly what LE wants to search.

I am going to quickly post this before the power goes out. It is still flickering

I read the obituaries online today from the Chicago Tribune. there is no mention of CC- no loving wife and sons of... just her family. I am pretty sure Sheri's family knows who did this.

There was a car club of some sort involved, a woman was murdered and her cousin was posting here if I recall correctly. LE requested that it be pulled.

Thats right the corvette club, yes another hubby who did it he has since been arrested for her murder.Thank you :blowkiss:it was driving me crazy.

Not to mention how lucky it was for the perp to know to look for the hidden DVR. Knowing it existed, that that was how the technology worked. Intimate knowledge of the security set up for someone that made such a clear point of entry to the house. Seems like an odd combination of brute force and cunning/knowledge.

I have a security system, but if I saw cameras in the house I was commiting a crime in I would assume that the recording device was the computer, server, or being fed out of the house. Our alarm company offers video monitoring that is viewed and stored there. The idea creeps me out thinking someone could be watching me so we skipped that option. Interesting that with this deadly stalker of completely unknown identity that two cameras were installed but no alarm system. No PI to monitor the house and get a picture of this assailant.

Anybody know anything about DVR's? Is the memory like a computer's memory even if you delete it's still there? I'm wondering if there is anything he may have deleted may from that day showing him going in and out late at night? or maybe pics of him putting something in the box and then erasing it before Sheri could veiw it?
This dvr memory if it is true could be the smoking gun in this case.

We give alot of weight and consider all of that. Most of us just interpret that differently than you do.

I am willing to consider it. Unfortunately when I consider it it is illogical to have no clue who wants to kill you. For the police to find no suspect. For there to be no evidence of this person. No suspicion of who would want to harm his family and why. No sitings of this person delivering these letters. I hope that LE has those letters, they will sink him at this level.

Calling the police about some letters and not being able to explain why someone might want to butcher your family is going to get you some helpful advice like step up your security. Your family ending up butchered and you not having a hair on your head harmed, well that is going to get your stalker letters to an FBI lab near you for DNA testing and handwriting analysis.

I am not going to get into a debate with you about the thresh hold for estate and inheritance taxes (they are seperate btw, one being state and other being federal) and how those rates vary from state to state and vary again depending on one's relationship to the deceased. Considering the average property value in many cities would put one near a "hefty" income bracket it is widely recommended that your spouse be on the deed regardless of your mortgage choices.

Taking your spouse of the deed to the home months before her unnatural death, I know you don't like it, but it is suspicious. Not enough to lock you up by itself, but it is definitely going to have people take a closer look.

Mine was a simple question .. which taxes? I thought perhaps you were referring to estate taxes, not state-by-state inheritance taxes

I truly believe the threats were real! I just believe CC was the author of the letters. This would not be the first case a husband wrote threat letters to the family including him and murdered his wife.:furious:

If we ever get death threats I'm checking all my computers and magazines. Just in case.

One case was the Diane King case.

If i could ask LE a question, a yes or no question......were these search warrants issued, because someone is not cooperating in the investigation?......and a judge signed the search warrants so LE can go back to this person and search?......and was there more then one warrant, for a different place?........multiple warrants issued?
it would not be the house, or the parents.........or the other home etc I assume...........or could it be a private place, such as a storage unit or something?..........if not a person, is it a place, where there is no one to give permission to search at this time, and so to prevent an illegal search and seizure, they were issued? or was it probably cause, that had the warrants issued?

From what I understand, it records over itself over & over again. However, they may be able to pull recordings off of it just like you can try to retrieve deleted things off a hard drive. Hopefully this one had a huge memory allotment.

Now if it was just chucked off the side of the road, all Computer Forensics has to do is hook it up and take a peek. I doubt it was destroyed beyond getting valuable info off of it or recorded over that fast. But it could be he turned it off if this was premeditated, but I'm not convinced it was.

I going out on a limb here and say. I think they will find or have already, the letters came from a computer at JMM. Written and printed on 3rd shift.

IMO If there was a credible threatening letter the LE would have either found that person(they have had months) and if they believed it might be a deranged fanatic who wanted to kill a family and possibly JM I think the FBI would have been called months ago.With all the craziness in the world lately would they really risk so many lives if said nutcase would go to one of JM 12,000 in attendance shows and start shooting everyone to try to get CC.:waitasec:

I don't remember if there was a camera at the back door. It would be amazing if the idoit is on camera walking back into his house carrying a can of spray paint. We have a shed, but I guess if they had a basement it may have been stored in there.
