One thing I found odd that has been eating away at me...

On the day the CC family was at the house. They had a small enclosed trailer to load good into. There is no way that they could take everything in the house using that small trailer. The media reported on what they saw the CC family taking out of the house. The media said the saw them removing CC's clothing, a couple of suitcases (which may have had his clothing like underwear and socks in them) and "boxes of books". ( I guess the boxes where open and they could see there was books in the boxes ) . Anyhow I saw one of the men carrying out what looked like a drop in shelf from a bookcase in the video.

Now I find it odd that they grabbed boxes of books and not other important items from the house. (like paper files or photo albums, tools, etc). I also found it odd that media mentioned the boxes of books being taken out of the house but did not say tools or fishing/hunting gear, music cd's, stereo equipment, TV (you know more manly things that a manly marine would pick before books)

Anyway. I am wonder what the subject matter was of these books and why the books were so important to CC to remove them from the house at that time?

If I was LE I would be wondering the same thing and I am wondering if LE is interested in why they took the books from the house also during this first trip to the house when the house was released fully to Coleman and he or his family could always come back and get the boxes of books.

Any thoughts?

I want to know if they were issued, because someone is not cooperating ....

We will never know the answer to this question because they are issued as part of standard operating procedure. They would have been issued either way, so no they were not issued due to non cooperation. That is not to say CC was not uncooperative about the idea, or unhappy about it. They were issued because that is the way they do things so they don't get in their own way at prosecution.

If they were hiding in my house they would come out and confess just to get away from the noise of my three little angels!

Also if your the perp would you hide in a house with a guy who is head of security for a corporate business? and wouldn't the footage on the DVR show the perp entering the house. Oh that's right he erased it before they got home.

And these anonomous "threats," menacing notes or w/e... don't get me started... it's just so easy to fabricate or manufacture a heightened "terror level" to later stage a homicide. Even the writing's on the wall, it's like the expert said it's just SO cliche. Still I hope I'm just a hardened, jaded sleuther.

All along the 11 miles of highway & streets to get to the gym LE searches the 255/JB area and supposedly finds evidence. Why did they look there? And not comb the rest of the roads that would lead to the gym? If they did, that wasn't reported to my knowledge. So they happened to find something, what we assume is the DVR and/or spray cans. So that leads me to believe someone saw something and called LE. Or they're just extremely lucky.

This case was on local news almost immediately with a clear view of CC's green SUV. Could someone have seen the SUV on TV and remembered they saw one of those on the JB that morning and saw something thrown out of the window! Thoughts?

I would've called that is my 2nd biggest annoyance with other drivers (2nd to kids not belted in). It ticks me off to see people throw things from the car. Every store has a trash can save till to get to one. I think there is alot of good people out there who notice things, and would call if they thought it would help.

There are so many cameras now today they may have spotted his car on a surveillance tape and saw him stopped or flinging something in that area.

What I do not understand about the guy hiding all night in the house. The threats were directed at all of them so why is CC alive?

to frame him & make his life a living hell of course. ;)

It was the first I had heard of it as well. If I didn't delete today's episode, I'll let you know about how far into the episode it is mentioned.

About 47 minutes into Friday's episode, before 'Bebbie' was on. NG's fillin mentions it between talking to Moss, and some defense lawyer.

Just supposing those threats were real, and since it is not know the specifics of the threats - they could have been "I will harm your family!"

The threat is made reality and the message left on the wall "I told you this would happen!"

Taking out Coleman too would serve no purpose. The ultimate punishment to "harm your family"

Still why would the killer hide in the house and risk being caught by CC? CC could have very well had a gun and killed the intruder. Unlikely an unknown intruder/killer/threatener/stalker would take that chance, IMO.

No because if the police found the threatening letters credible they would have found the perp not just knock on a door or two then leave.FBI would have been called in.I bet it will come out no DNA or finger prints other the CC is on the letter and envelope.I am standing firm on it being CC.He is the only POI that makes sense to me.

Yep, the killer hid in the house all night, for sure. Hidden in plain sight - the husband himself. From everything I have read, and this is IMHO only, this crime was premeditated for at least the last 6 months. The threats, the camera, all of it purposely done to set up a crime the perp (pronounced h-u-s-b-a-n-d) thought he would absolutely get away with. Good heavens - why are there so many men who commit murder of wives and/or their children?

That is a good question. I would like to know if the neighbor that heard screams, did he hear arguement screams or did he hear Sheri screaming while she was attacked?

No one know that and it is not important. Search warrants are always issued when LE wants to remove something from the home or property. If it is used in court, the items that were removed they better of had a search warrant to get it because the the item could be thrown out of court if there was no search warrant.

I wondered that too. Why was it so important to load all that up immediately. It's just me, but I would want NOTHING other than photos of my family, momentos (baby albums, family heirlooms, etc..) & important papers out of that house ~ and I mean NOTHING else, not even my clothes, shoes, furniture etc... the rest could burn to the ground and I could care less.

Since you brought up Bebbie................Where do they find these people who call? They never make sense and they ask the same stupid questions, that were answered days ago. They need a better screener......Sorry about the rant.......When I saw Bebbie LOL

I believe the "threats" were, indeed, real. I just believe they originated from CC.

I mean c'mon JM isn't like a foreign head of state or big gov't official or underworld boss (that I know of lol) gmab... Now maybe he was that important in his own mind but I'm just not buyin it that his security role was SO vital that his life was at stake and his whole family was a target...

I wonder if that road has cameras on it .

The only one I know of is on the Missouri side of the river a bit aways from the bridge. You can view it on gatewayguide.com I doubt it could catch the bridge on it. I'll drive over there soon and see if there is another one, but I don't recall one.

Exactly. And if I go with this fairy tale for a moment and a complete stranger has been threatening this family for 6 months, for no apparant reason... where is the grieving father pleading for help to identify this person. "someone knows who has been threatening me, someone knows why this person is focused on me and my family, please help me".

Oh, that is right he is huddled up with a defense attorney instead of "looking for the real killer".

It was reported on NG today that the city of Columbia had a camera trained on the Coleman house in response to the threats received. If that tape shows someone other than CC exit the house Tuesday morning before police arrived, then I am willing to give your scenario some consideration.

I do know the CC family is claiming that 'the real killer™' (has anyone contacted OJ to let him know where they are yet?) was hiding out in the house all night waiting for CC to leave in the morning. So we should see him or her leave shortly after CC went to the Gym. Unless of course this person was enough of a pro to off the family while CC was actually in the house, maybe CC attempted to wake his wife before leaving, but was unable to do so. That could explain why he started calling minutes after leaving the house.

It will be VERY interesting if we hear the city owned camera was unexpectedly not functioning Monday night.
It is what the reporter said...LE had a camera trained on their home. We know there is a surveillance camera at the entrance of the subdivision. Now I want to know where the camera is located in relation to the front of the home. How far away is it?

Are the photos clear enough in detail to show his face as he is coming out of the house? Most photos I have seen from this type of camera are so grainy you cannot determine much at all.

ITA - and were are the police giving some details of the stranger and asking for help finding him/her?
