It seems Coleman had the job of security overnight at the Meyer compound and traveling with Meyer as her personal bodyguard.

This is what I have gathered from what I've read.

As a matter of fact, a guest tonight on NG talked in detail about his duties. The transcript will detail it.

Connors statement on NG (from last week, played tonight going to break)... "We are no longer following him, it was obvious we were following him for about a day, uh, that was just we were concluding the investigation and we just wanted to know his whereabouts in case, uh, we needed to (big pause here) further the investigation with him.

I caught that too. I assumed he was about to say "arrest him".

Basically this just another murder case with a murderer that was not very smart.
He thought he had plan that LE/MCS would not catch on to.
He slipped up badly and LE and forensics is pulling that together now with evidence they gathered.
The motive is simple... He wanted out of the marriage and wanted to be free of any major responsibilities. He thought he could get away with it.

chestergal, I want to thank you for your contribution to this thread. You've brought us valuable insight into this case.

However, you've left me speechless......

I'll never understand the depths to which someone could go in their own mind, that would enable them to do such a crime as this. No motive is good enough or makes sense. But, ............to murder not only your wife but your own children also, to *be free of any major responsibilities.*

I'm just sick.

All of you won't believe how incredibly stupid CC really is when the facts come out.

Not to disagree with you here, but believe me, many of us will believe how stupid CC really is. After all, we did watch the Laci Peterson case. It would take a LOT to out-do Scott Peterson in the *stoooopid* department.

Of course, he still thinks people believe he's innocent. Oh,............wait, there's still his family and groupies................LOL, guess they didn't get the memo.

Something going through my head. When CC called the neighbor (LE) to check on things, how did he get into the house? I heard that he found the bodies and I also thought I read somewhere that the door was unlocked. We KNOW how security conscious CC was. HE didn't leave the door unlocked. So my guess is he is going to say the REAL perp left it unlocked on his way out of the crime scene. And there is supposed to be a camera facing his house. Which should have caught the perp leaving. Unless he left by the back way. But why the front door unlocked then?

Thank You, I never am good expressing my self but I just wanted to let him know there are people far away from IL that do care about his loss.I find it very sad there was not any comments from the ones who knew Sheri.

I found his reaction to be very odd. It was very impersonal and sounded more like he was fishing. I think what he is asking for is not sympathy, but answers from people who know something about the murders or about Chris specifically. He is very angry right now, imo.

There is some concern about people contacting family members. It is something I would not recommend during any case. You can become part of the investigation.

Aren't you from Florida? He may think you are friends with the GF or something. We have to consider those things for our own safety.

I know - I saw that too. He posted the blog entry just before 9 pm. Does the family of the victims get informed of any progress in the investigation that would not be privy to the public or do they hold that too?

No. They are not told certain information because of a potential leak, imo. They do keep them updated with information such as an impending arrest (usually right before) and certain things which would not jeopardize the case.

He isn't going to be giving out information. He is collecting it! IMO, the reason he wants email addresses is to hand them over to LE. He wants facts. He wants the killer behind bars and justice for Sheri and the boys. He isn't being friendly here. He is investigating the brutal murder of his sister and his nephews!

LOL I saw Garden State and thought of Florida...sorry. I think your message was sweet and well intentioned, but he doesn't appear to me to be looking for friends right now.

I don't mind LE investigating me either (especially if his name is Yuri LOL), but they need to concentrate on the people who are actually involved instead.
