I found his reaction to be very odd. It was very impersonal and sounded more like he was fishing. I think what he is asking for is not sympathy, but answers from people who know something about the murders or about Chris specifically. He is very angry right now, imo.

There is some concern about people contacting family members. It is something I would not recommend during any case. You can become part of the investigation.

Aren't you from Florida? He may think you are friends with the GF or something. We have to consider those things for our own safety.

No. They are not told certain information because of a potential leak, imo. They do keep them updated with information such as an impending arrest (usually right before) and certain things which would not jeopardize the case.

He isn't going to be giving out information. He is collecting it! IMO, the reason he wants email addresses is to hand them over to LE. He wants facts. He wants the killer behind bars and justice for Sheri and the boys. He isn't being friendly here. He is investigating the brutal murder of his sister and his nephews!

I've got to strongly agree with this. While my brothers death was completely different than Sheri's; one of the first things I did was contact or try to contact all his friends on his email list, cell phone directory, myspace & facebook to hand things to LE to investigate as other avenues into what "actually" happened. I can guarantee right now he is mad as he!! and wants answers... any answers to make sense of this. FWIW, I just wouldn't contact him right now & ask to be a friend.

LOL I saw Garden State and thought of Florida...sorry. I think your message was sweet and well intentioned, but he doesn't appear to me to be looking for friends right now.

I don't mind LE investigating me either (especially if his name is Yuri LOL), but they need to concentrate on the people who are actually involved instead.

I would believe that perhaps Sheri's family hired their own PI. I don't see them being very patient with LE at this point, but I could be wrong.

Something going through my head. When CC called the neighbor (LE) to check on things, how did he get into the house? I heard that he found the bodies and I also thought I read somewhere that the door was unlocked. We KNOW how security conscious CC was. HE didn't leave the door unlocked. So my guess is he is going to say the REAL perp left it unlocked on his way out of the crime scene. And there is supposed to be a camera facing his house. Which should have caught the perp leaving. Unless he left by the back way. But why the front door unlocked then?

Do we know what really happened? We have LE stating they found the bodies; then we have they found them & CC was there; then somewhere a neighbor on a blog said a neighbor was first on the scene. Even on MCS website they report they found the bodies. I'm confused... but you do make a really good point. I honestly doubt the killer just walked out the front door at that time of day. Or out the back door. Unless the killer wasn't worried about his neighbors thinking anything strange of him leaving out the front door on his way to the gym.

Better to have a burning nose then to spit it all over your laptop (like I did weeks ago)It took HP 2 weeks to send it back.I hated not having it and I had to stay in one place on pc

NG got one thing wrong tonight.
The MCS asked if anyone saw anything odd on I-255 on Tuesday morning but this was after I-255 had been searched.
Newscrews were on I-255 when the search was going on. It was not mentioned or shown until the media was on the scene during the search and the media was off in the distance.

I believe the back sliding glass door was unlocked, but not positive. However...they did have it taped up.

If the detective across the street was called first and did find the bodies, he could have gone around to the back door to get in the house. Also...since he is LE...they would be correct in stating THEY found the bodies. He would have been acting in the capacity of an off-duty officer, but still part of the LE team.

They did ask the public for that information very early on (day of, day after) asking for anyone who saw anything suspicious on 255 BEFORE 6:50 a.m. to come forward. Maybe looking for eyewitnesses that spotted a green suv either hurling stuff out the window, or parked on the shoulder tossing stuff into the river. I thought that was interesting.
