Hello Analytical...

Thank you for bringing up the sermon "When A Headline Hits Home." I listened to that about a week or so ago -- but did not feel to bring it up in here at the time for any number of reasons. Listening to it, I was impressed on a number of levels.

First of all, I could not find an iota of criticism for Pastor Jim Stern, and I am fairly critical -- sure, I could have stretched to be critical, but that was NOT how I felt moved in listening to that sermon. Actually, Pastor Stern sounded quite like the pastors we respect, and that service sounded much like those we attend.

Second... I did not notice the mention of Chris' name in that sermon, which was on the 9th. I have some very strong feelings about what I heard in that sermon -- I have kept them to myself.

Third... I believe that Pastor Stern also officiated at Sheri's local funeral, speaking -- and I feel somewhat sure that, as pastor, he had an opportunity to be in touch with Chris soon after hearing that Sheri and the children were murdered.

I'll leave what I feel as this...but I do feel that the sermon speaks worlds.

PS. I wanted to be able to hear the special Coleman sermon, but could not get it to download or come in :(

Well, I didn't get any "hidden" meaning out of it. :)

As to Coleman' sermons, I was able to listen to two .. are you just having trouble accessing them?

Yes...

I looked up info on Dave Ramsey's talk about life insurance (that can be found online). It is in one of these threads.

No, I do not know of anything Ramsey might have mentioned about refinance. He may or may not have suggested that somewhere, but I hesitate to believe that he would ever advise any ill approach to jeopardize the ownership of each marriage partner's rightfully owned community property.

On the other hand, we have info about a Quit Claim name change on a deed... We also have some historic information on what father Coleman advised another son prior to his dumping of a wife to marry another wife.

Just a thought here but I wonder if CC had a corporate credit card that he mis-used for costs such as these and maybe that was part of the reason he was forced to resign. I have a corporate card and so does just about everyone else where I work who does any traveling but it's just meant to be used for business travel.
It was my understanding that the resignation came after the news of his affair came to light after the murders. MOO

I considered this, but wouldn't he be charged for using the company dime to fly Miss Motive around and paying for things like wedding announcements?

Personally, I didn't get any "hidden" meaning either -- the meaning I got was very loud and very clear.

The special Coleman's sermon (I think that was the title) was at http://www.destinychurch.org/ and it was probably done by Pastor Stern, but on numerous attempts I could not get it to come in (we are on radio/broadband here and sometimes it just kinda flops -- there was no option to download it). At anyrate, that sermon was offered on one of the pages, it was video and audio. It does not appear to be available any longer -- it was probably up for a time for the fellowship's needs.

Yes, the business with the other son sure makes the name change very suspicious. I can't wait until the wrongful death suit gets filed and they get their hands on all the financial records etc. We are going to learn a lot more about Chris Coleman, imo.

Are you talking about the statement Stern made regarding the deaths?

If so, I know that link. If you're looking for a sermon made by Coleman at Stern's church, I'm not aware of the existence of that.

Held in Coleman home Sept. 16 - Nov. 11

It's possible something in this course led to the decision to remove Sheri's name from the deed and re-finance the house - and it has also been reported the house had been on the market, IIRC, at least twice

http://www.destinymembers.org/Content.asp?id=875&Class=477

The Monroe County Appraiser's office shows the document removing Sheri from the deed recorded as of 11.1.08

Not sure about IL but here in my state when refinancing closing costs are cheaper near the beginning of the month than at the end. 11/1/08 would put them at the very beginning and possible cheaper to close then.

There was a specific special "Coleman's" service available from the Destiny church website. I do not know where that service took place, I know that the video/audio was available at their site. I am exploring this now.

No...I am not looking for any statement Stern might have made at any time. I am also not looking to hear any sermon by Coleman. Thanks for asking. :blowkiss:

Was only trying to clarify which one. Perhaps you could drop an e-mail to Destiny Church asking for the audio file.

Wrinkles,

Per this "There will be services open to the public which will be held at Destiny Church near Manchester and Interstate 270. Those will take place Saturday evening at 6 p.m. and Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m."
(looking at the website, those are the regular service times)

http://www.ksdk.com/includes/tools/print.aspx?storyid=174609

The file I found is dated May 9 .. I don't see any files for May 10.

The messages uploaded for May all fall on a Saturday.

Looking forward to Court hearing on June 10th. I do not expect much, but hopefully, more evidence will be presented that we have not been aware of. That would be *so* helpful on so many levels.

FWIW, men are not scum. ~Some~ men are. Just tossing my opinion out there. Kinda feels like I've said that before somewhere. A possible moment of Deja Vue, I guess. :)

I was thinking more along the lines of the plane tickets for her. If he did a lot of traveling it may have taken them awhile to catch it. I think when I get my online statements for my corp. card it doesn't show who was flying, just the destination.

Not sure how it works in IL, but if it was a re-fi and she wasn't on the loan, she would still have the QC to property to him at closing it seems because in IL money or property acquired during the course of the marriage is presumed to belong to the marriage and, as such, is subject to an equitable division upon divorce. Then, after closing, he could have QC'd it from his name solely to them jointly...That didn't happen based on the property tax info. It's in his name...

Interesting ...KC and the ex-wife's property info is in both names as of the 2008 info. RC's recommendation to take the money and run is so disturbing to me. I feel bad for the ex-wife. She's brite. I'm sure she landed on her feet and much better off away from that crew. :) He must have taken the money from the business they were in?

And - I did see KC's new marriage license info "down south"...Jan. 2009.

...and it should show ticket number(s).

Not a single word in our weekly Chester paper this week about Chris Coleman being arrested for the murders of his wife and 2 boys. Nada... zip!

You have no idea how pissed off I am about this. It just goes to show ya how many damn trolls there are in this town that support Ron Coleman and his church.

Typically this would have been on the front page if it would have been any other person in this town.

Was it coincidence or not that the preacher starts talking about bringing problems onto others & as an example mentions having an affair? (starts @ 16:56 for those who haven't listened)
