Hey PSM, how are you? I am resting as the trip took a lot out of me. I should be fine by Sunday. Loved seeing my mom. It had been a year and a half since I saw her last. You really were the impetus to go down there. Thanks for your words about your mom. They really hit home.

We had a very exciting few days. Yes, it was cold on the beach. Hubby and I went to Block Island on Tuesday. We met my oldest daughter and her boyfriend up there. 2 more of our daughters met us there for dinner. What a surprise and shock when our daughters boyfriend told us they were getting married the next day. We did not believe them and thought we were being punked as they have been together for 13 years.
We had nothing but beach clothes and had 3 hours of the evening to shop:scared: Finally got what we needed for the next day. Flowers were bought and something new for the bride. She looked beautiful and her boyfriend, so handsome. They got married at the Southeast Light House. They planned everything including a wonderful dinner at the Atlantic Inn. They did the planning all within the last two weeks and kept it a secret and her gown was beautiful. It was amazing.

She is the 2nd and the second oldest. First daughters marriage was never meant to be and ended, thank the Lord.

Too funny. I have 1 son and 2 daughters. I told them simple was good by me! Isn't beige boring sometimes?!

The both of them were fine with us wearing our beach clothes. I could not see me wearing shorts. So I got a little summer dress and hubby wore his shorts with a Tommy Bahama shirt. He always wanted one but they are way to expensive. Hubby splurged on the shirt for his daughter. I wish we were still there. It was pouring today but yesterday was absolutely gorgeous.

I have 2 fat cats....buy one of those laser pointers. They LOVE them. You don't have to move, just point the laser at the wall and they go nuts.

My shepherds go nuts for the laser and any reflection that is shiny. My poor walls and rug. My husband thinks it is hilarious

You mean about 1st daughters marriage. I did not hold my tongue. First time I met her former husband before they married she asked me what I thought. I said he had real pretty eyes but something bad was behind them and I was right. He was bad news and if she had stayed with him she might not be alive. She didn't listen to a word I said then. My mom planned that wedding against our wishes. Such a bad, bad move.
