I'm so glad not to have "the curse" every month and have to deal with all that baloney. Old age is great sometimes.

Didn't you use those belts that hooked around your waist? :scared:

Nope. My dear mother thought the "sani pants" that felt like the plastic pants you put on a baby would be more "comfortable". I fell down on my knees and said hallelujah when they brought out the pads with the "adhesive strip". :woohoo:

Ah, yes, the belt and napkins. Those were the days.

I was probably the last one in my class to get "my friend", or George, as we used to call him. I was 14. My sister, 15 months younger than me, got her first period the month after I did. :( And the only reason I got my very own training bra at 14 was because my sister needed one, so Mom made sure I had one too! Gee, my mom was pretty good to me.

How does this Kindle work? What does it run off of?

I just have such a hard time giving up books, my husband bought me a kindle, I tried to use it. I just get zero satisfaction reading on it. I hate it.

I love books, I like the way they feel in my hand, turning the pages, sticking my book mark in, and closing it and placing it on the shelf when finished.

Friday my Dr. took blood for a workup. This evening he called. Amy told him I was out shopping. He asked if I were feeling ok ,she said yes. He told her my results came in from the hospital lab. My potassium level is way up! He left a number for me to call in the morning. If I dont feel the least bit well I should call right away tonight. Asked if I took any non prescript Amy said she didnt think so. He said it could be a lab mistake. When I almost died in 2007 they couldnt keep the level up and it caused a mild heart attack, I had septicemia from bleeding U.C..carp! I'm sure he's gong to send me to the hospital lab for more blood work. Daisy Daisy!! no sugar please. Diabetes took my husband.

P.S. I had the attack when I first got to er..they gave me IV. potassium boy does that burn!!! re:Arias the 26th is next Monday. Patiently waiting. I hope and pray JS.doesnt give them more time. She'll wind up dying of old age before the trial is complete~ja....:seeya:

With you 100 %. Paperback, hardback, I don't care. It's part of the whole experience. Real books, the real thing.

I had a training bra but didn't have anything to train for a long time. :floorlaugh:

I tried to watch JVM, but it got too screamy, yelly for me. I was glad to see Beth Karas on the panel; she is a voice of reason and IMO has integrity so it was good to see her vouch for some of JVM's "bombshells.

Information has been out disclosed in cyberspace about CMJA's stalking of Bobby Juarez. I have seen people who claim to have known both of them posting on this and giving some very specific incidents as examples, so it was good to have confirmation from Beth on this.

Neesaki, the "nympho" bombshell bombed, as the evidence in the trial did point to CMJA being the aggressor in the physical relationship. Some of the panel's speculation on June 4th is consistent with opinions here that her having sex with him on that day was all part of her plan.

There was also talk of CMJA attempting to blackmail Travis with the sex tape and that this was the basis for Travis sending that blistering exchange on May 26. Again, no surprise as this is something that has been discussed here. JVM did support this theory with Skye Hughes' speculation that CMJA was going to consult her attorney about the legality of a phone conversation recorded without permission.

That was as far as I got in the program before I tuned out.

Like you, this whole thing about too prejudicial is a concept that serves the defendant, not justice. I thought that it used to be a prior history could be introduced in court if it directly related to the crime. In this case, Travis was stalked as was Bobby and the stalking escalated enough to cause fear in both men. I'm as confident as one can be that there were many incidents of stalking Travis that were not mentioned in court.

The one thing that did bother me was when Amy Murphy talked about the penalty phase being hung, she repeatedly said the foreman felt that
Travis was culpable and thus CMJA did not deserve the death penalty. What I saw from the evidence presented was a man who was trying to get out of the relationship and as the stalking escalated, he did become scared and angry. It was a vicious cycle; the more he tried to break free, the harder she tried to rope him in and unfortunately the cycle ended in him being brutally murdered.

I wanna know all about Matt!!!
