okay so i took a digital test this morning so that there was no way I could misread the test again. The test said "PREGNANT" i think i'm going to have an anxiety attack lol. time to call the doc!

on a side note, i also wanted to take a moment to remember 9/11/01. prayers to everyone today, it will always be a difficult day for so many americans. i'm going to take my kids to the park and try to live in the moment. i'm sick even thinking about all the souls lost who were just going about their daily routines when the unthinkable happened. god bless america

I crated my dog when she was young. At first I felt just awful about it, like I was being mean, but she would chew up anything and everything if I didn't. Eventually I never had to shut the crate door anymore. She thought the crate was her private space. She would go lay down for a nap, take a special new chew toy in there (I had blankets and toys in there that built up over time) as if it were a prize possession, run in there if a storm came, get off my bed when it got hot at night and go to her bed, and so on. I called it her apartment. She really did love it, once she no longer had to be forced in, she would even put herself in on time out. Not once after she learned to go in on her own did I need to close the door. She just went in and stayed until she wanted to come back out. Sometimes I thought she was just sick of looking at me and would go in there for some quiet time.

Mollyandme, I think you need to go get the blood test done!

My dog is a retired racing greyhound. Very well used to being crated. From the day I brought him home and he discovered the joy of a memory foam queen sized bed and sofas he's wanted nothing to do with his crate.

he had never spent any time alone ever until I brought him home. It's a very very rare occasion he's crated and left alone.

I've tried leaving him for 30 minutes alone and uncrated but he poops on the floor, by the front door, every time. ... Even if he just went before being crated. He gets super anxious and is panting hard and very thirsty when I return. He doesn't bark though.

He will not get in the crate for lame treats, toys, milk one biscuits or his own food. He will hold out for Baggon Strips, slim Jim or a marrow bone.

I get melancholy every year at this time. It is a day I will never forget, and almost broke up my marriage because I was so traumatized by it. God bless all my US friends and neighbors, and here's hoping time will heal the wounds.

Evening, sis :seeya:

I would like some daisies , too, please.
Just had an electrical blackout for 5 hours. It's so sticky here today. We had a big storm this afternoon and it knocked out the electricity. I'm so glad we now have electricity. I feel so grateful and undeserving. How did people survive without electricity. I'm grateful for our hurricane lamps and flashlights, too.
The ACs are blowing full blast now and it feels so good.

So, Molly is pregnant- how wonderful. She'll have "Irish Twins" now.
