Oh my, that must be some sight.

Since there are rows of them all across the shirt, it is definitely a sight. Smh

It is so blasted hot here. I may have to turn on the AC. I have been cooking today and I hate cooking.. Just hope it is good.

Zuri, Is she planning on wearing it in public?

No. Her father has barred her from doing so. It is very subtle and makes you look twice, but seriously. Just when I thought I had at least succeeded with 1 out of 3. Oh no, not to be. :)

Hmm,
How old is she. I know our 16yr old grandaughter, who is very smart and level headed for the most part, loves to throw in somethings of shock value. I just think she likes to see what kind of reaction she will get.

Exactly. Thank you for understanding. She is 20 and loves to make people laugh. In that vein, she succeeded. She must get her sense of humor from her father. :floorlaugh:

Hey everyone. LOTS to update, if anyone is interested. lol

I saw a Pulmonologist a few weeks ago and he determined (after all kinds of weird breathing tests) that i have asthma and prescribed an inhaled steroid. I'm still unemployed and without insurance so that sucker is expensive! So far, so good though. Between that and the "rescue inhaler" I carry I'm doing well.

I think I'm finally getting my personal life under control. In case you haven't noticed from my erratic and ridiculous posts, I have a drinking problem. I'm finally able to admit that! It took a lot for me to actually type that sentence, so be gentle with me. lol After a lot of soul-searching I decided to move back home with my parents and things are going great. I'm even going to church! Without going into a lot of detail (that's for the Jury Room, if i ever decide to post there), I'm finally feeling some peace.

I love you guys and miss y'all so much! I hope everyone is doing well.

So very proud of you :loveyou: Keep up the wonderful road you are on. Glad your health is getting attention and your doing better. I have been so busy I am getting caught up. Kudos :seeya:

Well, Ricki, my youngest daughter went to Spencers and bought a holiday long sleeve t shirt. I glanced at it when she brought it home, noting that there were pairs of reindeer on it. Dr. Zuri started laughing and I looked at it again. The small reindeer are, um, shall we say, depicted in a compromising activity.

Hahaha! I love it.

How old are your kiddos again anyway, Zuri? If I remember correctly they're all early 20's?

Busy day...I waited until the Saturday before Christmas to do my shopping! Ugh. People seem so miserable and impatient...it was depressing. I tried smiling at people and saying hello as I weeded through the Walmart zoo, but they just looked at me with blank faces. Sad.

My mom and i decorated our Christmas tree last week finally. We usually do this on my birthday (Dec. 6th) but I created a little bit of drama this year and it was put off lol.

I also did a lot of baking tonight! I hate baking but I'm feeling pretty accomplished.

Well, we had my extended family Christmas today. It's now over. But I'm happy to say it went much better and I actually enjoyed it for the first time in several years. Not saying it wasn't exhausting, but it was worth it. :) I think I discovered something, my parents stayed over night for the first time in a few years. It felt more like the old days, preparing food with my mom, spending more time with her. Actually felt like a family again, you know? I'm now quite sure that was a part of what has been "missing" for me. That makes me so happy. :) Why hadn't I figured that out before? :dunno: What a blessing.

Has anyone had any trouble with UPS deliveries this week. A package went out to be delivered to my home on the 17th, 2nd Air, so it was to arrive on the 19th according to the tracking info. Then the 19th comes and it says it is delayed a day, so the 20th the status said it was on the truck out for delivery. Then that evening, when the delivery did not arrive, I check the status again and it states EXCEPTION, delivery rescheduled but with no new date. So, I am assuming my package to a joy ride on the 20th only to brought back to the facility that packed it for delivery on the truck.
The complaints I am seeing on the UPS FB page are numerous and some people are waiting for medications that are temperature sensitive, others are waiting for perishable, and some have had the celebrations ruined because no gift were delivered and their celebrations were scheduled for the weekend. Lots and Lots of discourage, angry and disappointed people.

Are those peanut butter blossoms? I am going to try to bake those on Monday.

I had a couple that were delayed due to weather conditions. I don't know where the shipments were from, or any details. Also, I had a couple of packages delivered accidentally to a neighbors house. Luckily, they got them to us (the neighbors did, that is :)). This usually just happens for us when temporaries are filling in for the regulars, at least in our area that's how it is. During times like that, I just count myself lucky if it makes it at all. :)

Weather has been ok our way except we did have a bit of snow on Monday, but not enough to cause delays. We were seeing UPS trucks up our way everyday except weekends up until a few days ago. I don't know why they would take the package on the truck and bring it back to the facility.
The mailman delivered a package here today. It was meant for the people down the street. I caught the mailman before he left and told him it was not ours. He apologized. He looked tired. Then my daughter had a package delivered here today also. It came in a UHAUL van. I guess some shippers are renting UHAULS to help with some of their overload.

That Daisy Mae on this thread has me hooked on the Lifetime Movie Network Channel on Saturday nights. There are fascinating programs about the afterlife and reincarnation, hauntings, ghost sightings etc. Fascinating TV, but not very Christmasy. :gthanks:
