12 eggs yolks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (not for people who are on a diet, obviously :floorlaugh:)
How much Baker's dark chocolate?

I make a chocolate pie- the Chocolate Dream pie (on the back of the Dream Whip box) for Christmas.
Nothing compared to this fine recipe, tho'.
thanks. :seeya:

It's been a while since I made it. Lost the recipe for a couple of years and just recently found it so I put the recipe on the computer.

I think I put 1 or 2 squares in. Start with one and taste it to see if it is chocolatey enough for you. I suppose you can make a white omelet with the egg whites or an Angel Food cake, so not to waste them.
This pie is extremely rich.

Am I talking to myself again?? :floorlaugh:

On Non, again :scared:

Internet is acting screwy :boohoo:

Must be the snow :tantrum:

Where is Zoey- haven't seen her for days.

I was thinking about the era of King Henry VIII. Everyone must have smelled really bad- since they didn't have deodorant back then. Must have stinked to high heaven :floorlaugh: :floorlaugh:
(great thoughts, huh :floorlaugh:)

Ricki- how much Bakers chocolate!!! so I can copy the recipe, please. :waiting:

YorNo, it's true! The men must have smelled like mountain goats!! Women with those huge dresses, they should have worn Bikinis.
:floorlaugh:

How come no one is showing on the "current- users viewing this thread"?
what's wrong with my computer?? :scared:

Ricki, thanks for the recipe. I'll try it soon. My son loves chocolate cream pie.

What do you do with the other pie (makes 2)? Can you halve it?
2 pies are a lot for me and my son :floorlaugh:

I love stinky, sharp provalone with a glass of red wine.

---------
Ricki, ever have Limburger cheese? they say it tastes so good. My mother loved it. I could never get past the smell!!:floorlaugh:

Those bigggggggggg dresses must have been hot in the summer (especially with no AC). The women must have stunk, too.

Yes, you can half it or give the 2nd pie to a friend.

Thanks, Ricki.
I failed miserably (only 3 correct :blushing:).
Although I watched Cheers religiously when it was on, I have forgotten much of it- even the Frasier parts. :o but I did enjoy the link (it was fun for me) and the info.
Thanks again for thinking of me. :seeya:

This was my score:

You scored 46%

Fun Fact: 7473 other people have taken this quiz with an average score of 45%

No, I never had it. What a strange name. I usually like sharp cheddar, provolone, or pepper jack. I like Munster too and feta on salads and gorganzola in pastas with hot peppers. I also like that cheese spread with the garlic and herbs. I forgot the name. Oh, I think it is Boursin.

They are starting with the cancellations here already. It is not suppose to be bad until tomorrow night. By morning we could have an inch or two. Then they said we may have some flurries but the heavy snow is not suppose to fall until tomorrow night. Way to cold. Weekend is suppose to warm up a bit. 40 on Monday and 17 on Tuesday. Yuk and double Yuk.

I started taking classes on word, excel, access and she is going to teach some power point. Maybe that will help me land a job in 2014 because doing it on my own with little knowledge of these applications is not working. My last job I did not use those.

40 on Monday?
maybe we'll have that, too? (since we both live on the east coast)
I hope so.
Hope you find a job this year.
I don't know anything but Word (and barely ).

Think I have to sign off because the computer is acting :scared:.
-have a good night and I hope to be here tomorrow.

Goodnight. :seeya:

While I was watching the Twilight Zone today, I happened to flip the channel to BBC and The Tudors was on. (The Twilight Zone was showing the episode of the ventriloquist's dummy and I don't like the looks of the dummy- he scares me. ).
I just love anything about King Henry VIII and allllllll his wives. :scared:
Anyone else watch this when it was on years ago? I never watched it when it first aired, but when BBC aired it a couple of years ago, I fell in love with the program.
I don't know what the attraction he had to some of his wives. Most looked kind of dowdy - but then again, look at him :floorlaugh:
Many it was just the painters?

Take a look for yourself:

I watched a bunch of docudramas last month on the women of the time. Here is one of them:

I agree, everyone must have smelled really horribly. Must remember bathing and changing clothes was not everyday activity.

Sorry to all getting so much snow. It is only nice if no one has to drive, and all can stay warm and have running water, heat, and internet.

That pie recipe looks great! I was the child that would make all deserts from scratch, no boxes, and loved all the very old recipes. Don't do it now since there is only me, but I really did enjoy it when I did do it.

I like just about all cheese. I was heartbroken when a friend told me cheese is bad for you, as I was eating it everyday. Lol. Never had Limberger yet. Hard to find in stores, probably because it is so stinky.
