I'm glad Johnny found a nice job and your prayers were answered.
St. Jude is the patron saint of desperate cases and lost causes. Did you know that Danny Thomas built the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital because of the prayers to St. Jude that were answered: "Help me find my way in life, and I will build you a shrine", he said and he did, but it wasn't just a shrine, but a hospital that treats children with cancer for no charge. Now that he is dead, Marlo carry on his legacy. Such wonderful people to do so much good.

I really do not understand how this Judge came to the decision of not allowing cameras (or now post-verdict release) when she allowed cameras during the guilt/innocence phase. Logic dictates that a Judge either allows cameras for the entire trial or bans them for the entire period. What she has done makes no sense to me. I don't get it.

E television gave her and her entire family a show, which led to spin off shows. The entire family is famous for being "famous".

Oh, I should mention her late father was Robert Kardashian, a famous lawyer. He was one of OJ's attorneys for his trial, IIRC.
After Robert died the Mom married Bruce Jenner (Olympian) who now is apparently trying to transform into a woman.

Amazingly, I know ALL of this and have never watched a single episode of ANY of their shows! That is how much the stupidity has saturated this country :facepalm:
(Most of the things I know are from the shows that make fun of them, lol).

That Girl was the original independent, feminist career girl back in the late 60's, even before The Mary Tyler Moore Show- which ran sometime in the early 70's.

And she did get engaged when the show ended, but we never knew if she ever did get married, IIRC.

first bold - according to my latest Natl Enquirer - Bruce is not going to transform into a woman, as he has now hooked up with Cher - and she wants him to stay as a man; they were romantically involved in the 1980s...

2nd bold - does anyone really watch these stupid reality shows?? I can't understand WHY they keep showing all these new reality shows?? On my TV screen menu - it shows different colors for Sports (green), movies (purple), and the "regular" shows as blue. Okay... yesterday I was cruising thru the programs and now they have "Hillbilly Fishing" as a "Sport" - ??? :scared: Geez - I wished that ALL reality shows were off the air! :banghead:

and to answer YesorNo's question on "what" we all are doing this Memorial Day weekend... nothing... :floorlaugh: but the Huz will be cooking steaks tomorrow!! :loveyou:

Watching the French Open; and later will be watching the Formula One race from Monaco!!

edited to add: almost walking without my cane - but it seems I limp, as one leg is shorter than the other... I wish the doctor had NOT done that. So kind of practicing "no limp" walking...
