:seeya:

My sister and I think you're a better grandparent than a parent. I kept hearing from Anna that she didn't get to this or that when she was a kid. I've been a great aunt seven times over, this is my first from my only brothers son.

My nephew is a paramedic and fireman, and I had burp cloths made that said "my daddy's a paramedic, what special powers does your daddy have?" and "Property of Mom - forever" for Alexander beautiful mama.

Thank you gcharlie and coeurfragile too! :blowkiss::blowkiss:

Also Chelly, I'm trying to poke around but can't find if that Pistorius closing is at 3:30am Mountain time? (where WAT lives ;) ). I'm so curious about that neverending trial.

Hey KCL :seeya: Hope all is well. The Pistorius closing is at 1:30am Mountain time. (9:30am in S. Africa) I have been following that trial very closely, and blogging about it too... it's been a good one to watch!

I haven't been on here in forever! Hi everyone :seeya: I can't believe we are a month away from FINALLY getting this show on the road. I'm really curious to see how this process will go down... and definitely curious to see how Jodi represents herself. I'm sure it will be more PowerPoints and t-shirts

Um............."Ouch"!!!:ohwow:

We tend to have big babies, and very quick labors. My sister had three at almost ten pound and her last was a little seven pounder and a labor that lasted seven hours.

My daughter was 6 lbs 15ounces ,and she was born after two hour labor , my son was over nine pounds and my labor with him was four hours exactly; 8:20 am was my first contraction and he was born at 12:20pm, and my labor with him was less painful than Anna's.

My mother told me that my dad would to check her in the hospital, and by the time he got upstairs to labor and delivery we all were all here. All of us were six pounds. Except me. The only one that lasted five hours and I was bald as a cue ball.

I remember Princesszeme also had nine pounders and short labors. I remember that she had a very old tree that she called "the old man". I sure do miss her.

Has anyone heard from MollyandMe? her baby should be here by now. She was due the twenty second of July.

And while I'm posting , I wonder if Jodi thinks she'll best Juan with her jailhouse expertise? If there is another mis trial I don't see Judge Stephens letting her off with any chance of parole. She's seen and heard more than what we have, she's and have put up with all Jodi bs, and lying. The fake pedo letters, the green blouse migraine headache days, the messages in the magazines, and the how she's trashed and murdered Travis. I can see her Honor cringing every time Jodi pops up and want a sidebar.

I think of Princess often also ..... and feel a little emptiness here in the Sidebar. Her spirit remains with us. RIP

I've been lurking here since the trial ended and am happy to see the thread back in action!

It's good to see you all as we anticipate what will happen next.

Bernina, condolences for you and your family.

KCL, I'm glad you've found a good path and I do hope the audition goes perfectly for Alfonse.

As for Missy representing herself, I imagine her "show and tell" from the trial. It was to laugh. I wonder if she is overestimating her legal abilities now that she has a GED under her belt.

Bernina,
My condolences on your dad's passing. I am sad the way the hospital handled the notification and hope your brother recovers from that. Also, we are all happy for those seven minutes you and your brother had and for your dad also. He was able to say he was sorry, that he loves you both and goodbye with clarity of mind and spirit. God gave you all that and what a wonderful gift.

Hi Janx, I have a funny feeling it might be worse. She seemed to enjoy it
everytime he spoke of it when she was on the stand.

In other news- Jodi's going to be auctioning off the glasses she wore during trial and donating the proceeds to charity."

I guess Jodi needs more commissary cash?
-----------
Hi Elle Elle, who the he(( does she think she is! she is a convicted murderer.
Doesn't this just rock your socks? I wouldn't give her a plug nickle.:gaah:

Jodi's not technically insane as she knows the difference between right and wrong. She is crazy as a bag of hammers though as she thrives on inflicting as much suffering as possible. Her sense of entitlement and desperate need for revenge are beyond anything even an *ordinary crazy* person would have. Just as she could have possibly had a sliver of chance of a lesser conviction had she admitted that she murdered Travis she went all out making up a ridiculous tale of abuse, pedophilia and self-defense. Now her best chance of being spared the death penalty would be to at least pretend to be sorry for what she has done, to acknowledge that she murdered Travis---no excuses. But she won't do that. She will take on Juan in front of the Judge and jury even if that makes them despise her. She'd rather be put to death than admit any wrong-doing. She is really her own worst enemy.
