We tend to have big babies, and very quick labors. My sister had three at almost ten pound and her last was a little seven pounder and a labor that lasted seven hours.

My daughter was 6 lbs 15ounces ,and she was born after two hour labor , my son was over nine pounds and my labor with him was four hours exactly; 8:20 am was my first contraction and he was born at 12:20pm, and my labor with him was less painful than Anna's.

My mother told me that my dad would to check her in the hospital, and by the time he got upstairs to labor and delivery we all were all here. All of us were six pounds. Except me. The only one that lasted five hours and I was bald as a cue ball.

I remember Princesszeme also had nine pounders and short labors. I remember that she had a very old tree that she called "the old man". I sure do miss her.

Has anyone heard from MollyandMe? her baby should be here by now. She was due the twenty second of July.

And while I'm posting , I wonder if Jodi thinks she'll best Juan with her jailhouse expertise? If there is another mis trial I don't see Judge Stephens letting her off with any chance of parole. She's seen and heard more than what we have, she's and have put up with all Jodi bs, and lying. The fake pedo letters, the green blouse migraine headache days, the messages in the magazines, and the how she's trashed and murdered Travis. I can see her Honor cringing every time Jodi pops up and want a sidebar.

I think we all miss her.
I remember when she talked about the squirrel that came into the house and her son running around to try and capture it.
It sounded so funny- I just had to laugh.
:floorlaugh:
When one of us Sidebarers are missing, it makes a big hole here, IMO.

There's so little of us that are regulars. :sigh:
I should be grateful for the few that come here daily and stop complaining. :dramaqueen:

I love roses and your signature is fine, Kensie.

Where is Cowboy Marilyn? I've been missing her. Is she on vacation? :floorlaugh:

Yes Cowboy Marilyn is on vacation but she will be returning.

Some idiot will buy them and probably for lots of $.
And of course, she really doesn't need them- Pfttt!!
Is she getting another pair with the taxpayer's $ ?

Ridiculous!

Is there a legal eagle who can say whether JM can bring up her selling her art and auctioning her glasses for charity while she is in jail? It is in very poor taste and it shows how much she thinks of herself to auction off her glasses. Sickens me. There isn't a juror in the world who would approve of a CONVICTED killer doing this and I don't care WHICH charity she donated the money to.

It is probably some made up charity - I keep thinking of Seinfeld when George had his Human Fund charity.

Based on the chatter from her supporters and what is on her official websites, it looks like CMJA intends to bring all this stuff up first, leaving the door wide open for Juan.

In addition to auctioning her eyeglasses, she is also trying to sell a drawing called Puppy for $900, with half the proceeds being donated to a no-kill animal shelter. Yup, get up there and say its not ok to kill animals without expressing real remorse over slaughtering a human being.

:drumroll::drumroll: 32 DAYS until September 8 !

:please::please: Praying that there will be LIVE cameras ... not only to see JA fall flat on her rear ... but cannot wait to see Juan in action !

I've created a "Countdown" for Sept., 8th's trial if anyone is interested. I'm keeping it in my "bookmarks":

4 weeks, 3 days, 9 hours, 11 min., and 25 seconds to go!!! (Arizona time)

No doubt the money for the glasses will go to some domestic violence charity.

She is so transparent.

I have info that missy's:jail: aunt is in charge of her 'appellate fund" and she collects all the monies. Wonder if she will direct the funds to the charities?

What are the odds?? I remember reading somewhere???? that missy :jail: said that part of her money from the sale of her art goes to her family because they need it.

I don't understand this "appellate fund". Doesn't she get a free lawyer when she starts her appeals??? So why does she need money for a lawyer???

I remember when that Frenchman walked a tightrope between the Twin Towers- I lived in NYC then and my older son was 4 years old. There was such a raucous about the whole affair with the
police and all. It was in all the newspapers and on the news for days.

And he didn't just walk- he lay down on the wire, danced, and did other crazy things. I thought he must have been crazy, IMO, but I'm afraid of heights. :scared:
That was so dangerous and he was lucky he didn't fall.:what:

I don't even think the Towers were finished yet. My uncle helped build the Towers way back when and I remember visiting him at the WT construction site one day.

Can't believe it's been 40 odd years already. The WTC brings such terrible, personal memories for me and I didn't watch any of the news after the planes hit the Towers- not until
10 years had passed, did I watch anything about it.

It breaks my heart to see the beautiful Towers on that video and now they are gone forever.

I was there the night they filmed the King Kong movie with Jeff Bridges at the WTC. I was working late (as always on Wall St.) and I passed by to go home and there were so many
people watching them film the part when King Kong was dead on the ground.

Bittersweet memories. :sigh:

This show may not even be on the road in a month but if it is, it will drag slowly on and on with much unnecessary delay. I foresee JA objecting to the prosecutor's every word and arguing often with the judge. Unfounded objections--even JA will know them to be such--but she will do it to waste the court's time and to try everyone's patience. And the judge will be forced to weigh very carefully how she responds to every antic because there are so many out there ready to scream of bias with every ruling. And they will get a lot of fodder, IMO, because I see this convicted killer trying to get in a lot of what is not pertinent to the proceedings and doing anything and everything she can to stall, stall stall.

She wants a stage on which to perform, yes. But her main goal, IMO, is to delay the inevitable--possibly for a very, very long time considering there are no limits on the number of sidebars that can be had or motions that can be filed. Even a baseless motion takes time. With JA at the helm of her defense imagine how long it could take just to seat a jury. And as we know from the trial, testimony can be drawn out and elaborated upon until the witness is on the stand for weeks. Most of it unnecessary; all of it calculated.
Hopefully Jodi will be out of contempt many times over and JSS will boot her arse out of the courtroom.

:seeya: Elle !

:gaah: Ah ... it seems Jodi has already started her bulldinky defense ! Jodi donating to a "charity" -- NOT !

 Just like she was going to "donate" her hair to worthy causes ... and setting up a library in :jail: . . . and starting a "recycling program" in :jail: ... oh, and those foreign language classes in :jail:

:gaah: And only a "nut case" would want her glasses ! :gaah:

:moo:
I saw a recent pic of her. I think it's AZ Family. My tablet limits me, and I have a hard time attaching pics.

Anyways, her hair is much longer now. Whatever ever happened to donating her hair?

Also, sadly I believe she has supporters out/secret admires out there.

Missed all of you too! xo

I thought Sept. 8 is jury selection? *confused*

Grumpy old Boomers are a big drag on America's economic mood

"People have always turned grouchier as they grow older, as regrets overtake aspirations and the “old days” look ever better from a distance.

Yet as American Baby Boomers turn gray, they are even more bummed out about the state of the economy and the prospects for the country than earlier generations were as they reached senior status....

....Of course, one could argue that the Boomers have internalized that version of American history that says it was all directed at producing the maximum prosperity and security of a single generation – theirs. They got the cheap education, the thriving job market and the generous entitlements that now seem undercut or imperiled for those who’ve come behind them...."

http://finance.yahoo.com/news/grump...rag-on-america-s-economic-mood-161020535.html

These people make me so mad about how "they" talk about Boomers- and I'm one of them!!! (especially that blonde in the video they show on the website :princes:).

I'm not angry, grouchy, or anything. I just feel sorry for the generations, now and to come, on how the world is going. Things are so different for them than when I was growing up. I was raised in a great era- secure and safe. I was able to stay out and actually play in the fresh air without my parents worrying that something would happen to us. Everyone in the neighborhood knew everyone else and if the children did something wrong, the neighbors would call on the parents. Everyone looked out for their children and other children. Now, you can't even have a child walk to school by themselves or even look away for a sec in a park without worrying that someone would abduct them. People are crazy now, IMO.

When I looked for a job, I actually went to an interview, with resume in hand, and spoke to a real person. I didn't have to email my resume to whoever and who knows I was a person with some worth to the company I worked for- not some producer of whatever they are producing now, easily replaced- moving from one company to another. People stayed in one company for years and many retired from them. You could afford a house- now no one can. PFttt.

And just what "entitlements" are they talking about??? My Social Security/Medicare? I paid for 40+ years into SS and it's my money. I worked for it! WE Boomers paid for the generation before us and no one complained about that! Don't talk to me about "entitlements"!!!! :(

What has changed now. We did not out-source jobs overseas and there are no jobs for Americans because of it-the economy just stinks now.

Look at what my older son had to contend with last Winter, if anyone remembers, where there wasn't any oil to deliver to his customers. Oil is so high now that his customers are turning to gas and he's losing them to other companies. He thinks that maybe in 2 years he's going to close up shop and just work for someone else. His company is his "baby" and now he may have to let it go. He started that company with only $5000 and with one of his friends (and eventually bought him out). Is he going to be able to retire when he's 65-66? No.

What a world. :sheesh: Maybe it's better that I don't have grandchildren. :sigh:

Sorry everyone, but that article and video made me mad, but more sad.

Jury selection does start on the 8th- that's part of the trial.

That gets me to thinking

How are we all going to handle the Tweets coming from Jen or whoever when the trial starts?

Geevee, Nymeria, Bernina

Are you guys going to follow the Tweeters and post? I can probably do back-up if my bands are good at that time or I would volunteer
to do it myself alone.

(we should make a plan)

Because I'm a mook tonight: :badmood:
