Speaking of old fun alien type movies. Does anyone remember the movie called "Splice". :) LMAO

It had an alien girl that grew up rapidly and her name was "Dren".

It was one of the most interesting and good low budget alien movies I have ever seen. :)

I think she grew from a baby to an adult in like a week. LMAO

ETA: I fell in love with the name "Dren" from that movie. If I ever had a girl child, I think I would name her "Dren". LOL

I remember that movie- real creepy:

"Two scientists (Adrien Brody, Sarah Polley) test legal and moral boundaries with a half-human genetic experiment that goes horribly wrong."

Does #jodiarias want the camera's back? Wonder who filed this?! pic.twitter.com/tx0mqABU99

OhBoyOhBoyOhBoy!!! Looks like Jodi has filed for cameras in the courtroom!!!!!

:happydance:

WOW. Someone sure filed that request. It was either Jodi herself or the media. Its hard to tell who filed it. The docket date is 8/21 so its a recent request. Cmon Judge. You are letting Jodi have everything so go ahead and let whoever filed this request have what they/we want. :)

YES, this is it. LOL. Thanks for posting the video reminder. I forgot she was such a pretty freak of nature. LOL

Yeah, that movie gave me the creeps. It was actually well done. The part where the man tried to drown his creation was sad. She got her revenge though.

"What life is like in the Jodi Arias murder house

"."... What's happened to the bathroom where Travis Alexander was found?

A: The master bedroom and bathroom and closet upstairs have all been repainted. They have new carpeting, baseboards and new shower doors.

We did keep the shelving in his closet. I have added a lot of floral patterns in the bathroom, splashes of reds and creams, as well as paisley fabric..."

Thank you YESorNO, I have been puzzling over all of this for a while now, concerning the PI, and the killer's demand that they have access to the "crime scene". I mean, what "crime scene" ? It is gone now, it is a true "has been", there is no telling what has been changed. So there is no longer a true "crime scene" to return to, other than in the killer's delusional and warped sense of reality. She is so desperate. Yet, something tells me she will be allowed to get away with it.
BTW, am I missing something ? There are new homeowners at Travis' previous residence, right ? So can the present homeowners be required to allow this PI, these people, into their home ? Invasion of privacy, etc. ? It is private property. Can't they refuse ? I would.

She is grasping at straws. I saw there have been 16 days alotted for this trial phase. Hope JSS doesn't turn it into 60.

Wasn't the 16 days for jury selection?

I was thinking the same thing. Can you imagine if you were the new homeowners and you are trying to forget there was a tragedy in your house and this guy pulls up and says he wants to rummage through your house for murder evidence. That is just crazy.

I would get my own laywer and fight this tooth and nail. Once LE released the crime scene then that should be it.
Especially with all the time that has gone by.

As far as the closet testimony from JA. I always felt that Juan should have exploited JA further on that.
It doesnt matter now since Juan won the case anyway but I felt that Juan should have forced JA to re-enact the closet scene and show the jury how she climbed to the top shelf using the actual closet and traveling to the house to let her climb the shelves.

I think it was impossible for Jodi to be able to reach up to that far top corner the way she said she did. It would have been funny to have JA show the jury that part. It would have been an epic fail IMO.

Which reminds me of the gun. Its too bad the gun hasnt been found by a random stranger. A lot of us at the time of the trial think she may have thrown in into the water at Hoover Dam area. If she did that, I suppose it would be a small miracle for anyone to be able to recover it.

"Forgive me, as a former federal prosecutor for 17 years, it is hard to watch the Jodi Arias trial, not because she is guilty and deserves the death penalty but because of the incredibly poor performance by Judge Sherry Stephens. The trial has become a circus, and spun even more wildly out of control during jury deliberations...."

FYI-This former prosecutor doesn't like the way JSS handled the trial- thought he had some interesting points, I guess, since I'm not a lawyer.

Who he is:

"...Mr. Volkov spent 17 years as a federal prosecutor in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia. As an Assistant US Attorney, he had over 75 jury trials and extensive federal court experience. He also served on the Senate and House Judiciary Committees as the chief crime and terrorism counsel for the respective committees. In addition, Mr. Volkov served as a deputy assistant attorney general in the Office of Legislative Affairs of the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) and as a trial attorney in the DOJ’s Antitrust Division..."

Thought this was an interesting article to read (in light of Robin Williams' suicide):

What Does Depression Physically Feel Like?

"For people with depression, it can be a truly difficult task to explain their condition. Because it is a disease that is more commonly associated with mental symptoms -- not outward, physical ones --those on the outside are often curious about what depression feels like. And it certainly feels like something: "In general, the worse the painful physical symptoms, the more severe the depression," researchers wrote in an overview of depression and physical symptoms in the Journal of Clinical Psychology. "Symptoms have been found to increase the duration of depressed mood."

In fact, patients often first complain of physical symptoms to a primary care physician, making depression more apt to be misdiagnosed..."

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/...like_n_5696227.html?ncid=txtlnkusaolp00000592

And a psychologist speaks about depression:

What This Psychologist Wishes She Could Tell Her Patients With Depression

"..For me, depression is a heaviness in the chest that I can actually feel radiating down my arms. I’ve come to know that feeling. I think if you’ve had more than one depressive episode, then you can start to notice the signs.

It’s a very foggy feeling, as if you are communicating with the rest of the world down a long dark tunnel, and you're shouting, trying to communicate with people. You don’t necessarily understand everything people are saying to you. Logically, you understand. But you’re a little bit slower...."

Would a death sentence given by a second sentencing jury to Jodi Arias survive constitutional challenges?

"...even if Arias were to be sentenced to death by a new sentencing jury, there will be a wide of array of constitutional challenges that Arias could raise on appeal of a death sentence imposed by that new jury. Critically, there is established precedent from both the Ninth Circuit and the US Supreme Court that suggest the Double Jeopardy Clause permits giving prosecutors another shot at a death sentence through a second sentencing proceeding. But Arias could still reasonably raise a double jeopardy claim by urging these courts to reconsider these precedents and/or by claiming that some unique aspects of her case (e.g., that she presented a self-defense claim at her guilt trial or that Arizona has a unique three-stage capital sentencing process) should call for a different outcome on her behalf.

Beyond Double Jeopardy claims, Arias might also reasonable pursue Fifth Amendment due process claims and/or Eighth Amendment claims on appeal of a death sentence if imposed after a new sentencing phase trial before a new jury. As the article above suggests, all the publicity surrounding the first trial will make it hard to be confident that any new jury — especially after jurors are subject to the necessary "death-qualification process" — will be able to come without having prejudged some critical issues. In addition, the "evolving" nature of the Eighth Amendment means that any and every person sent to death row reasonable can, and usually will, challenge almost any and every novel aspect of the death sentencing process...."

Click on "minute entries" for the motions and it will direct you to another page.
Then type in her name and on the next page, click on the "view minute entry".

For the case documents for the camera coverage: click on "case history".
Then on that page, put her name in, press search and then click on her case number and then you get
the court case info (where the "camera coverage" is).

I'm a terrible explainer. Hope this helped a little. :seeya:

BBM No beating up here, Curious. Good morning. :seeya:

Everyone sees things differently, but I thought that this lawyer had some professional thoughts about the trial and it was interesting to see those thoughts.

Thanks. I will have to write the steps down since I am on an iPad. My memory won't go past the first couple of steps. Ha. I sure liked that article by the former prosecutor and agree one hundred percent. This judge reminds me of judge Ito in Oj's trial. She has given the defense everything. And to those who say sheis worried about appeals, I say bull. We no longer have tough judges.

Yes or No,
I got all the way in to the filing but could not read the filing. Just says on 8/21/2014 that motion was filed to request cameras in courtroom. I clicked but nothing came up. It was filed though by Party 001, and that is the defendant, Jodi.
