Saturday morning cartoons are no more :crying:

"...This past Saturday, the CW became the last broadcast television network to cut Saturday morning cartoons....“It’s sad, though, that an entire generation of kids is missing out on lazy Saturdays filled with excellent cartoons,” wrotes Jessica Rawden of Cinema Blend...."

An end of an era and very sad, IMO.

I guess children these days watch their computer screens?

I don't know any more as my youngest son is 24.

I remember watching cartoons every Saturday Am while eating my breakfast- even when I went to college :blushing:

I watched cartoons with my older son in the 70's thru the 80's and with my younger son, in the 90's thru the 00's.

Guess I'm getting old :HHJP: and don't understand what's happening in the world anymore. Just put me out to pasture. :sigh:

Didn't Jodi invite herself along on two other trips? The one to the beach with two men in Travis's group of friends going surfing. I think she went dead broke for that trip also. And then one with the three guys ( Victor Arais?) in the mountains?

I wonder if these men ever think of how lucky they are to be alive.

Yes, I remember a couple stories about how Jodi would just invite herself on trips. They'd sort of hint that it was a guys' only trip and girls weren't really invited but she didn't care. The words "embarrassment" and "take a hint" weren't in her vast vocab. She'd force her way in, anyway. I believe the gold digging trip was one such trip.

I'm really really late to this party. I didn't follow the case or trial originally. So I've gone on YouTube to watch the interrogation videos and am now watching the original trial videos. Just watched the ME giving his evidence. CMJA is just so frustrating. The interrogation videos made me so mad. She strung Flores and the female detective along so much. And the intruder story. Utter bullpoop. She is totally cold. I don't think she's mentally ill so much as psychopathic!

Welcome! If you are already mad at Jodi, just wait till you get to her testimony. All 18 days of it. Keep a chin strap handy, otherwise you jaw will be on the floor.

I'm NOT afraid of men, and I still wouldn't go off into the woods with men I knew or barely knew.

"Who does that?" J.M. Esq.

Yeah, I heard that she won some kind of prize for longest testimony ever or something, lol. She'll just love talking about herself.

Is it wrong that I just wanted to slap her while I was watching the interrogation? I'm not a violent person AT ALL but she peed me off so much. The way she would direct the conversation back to herself, or just completely close down when asked a direct question. Wow. How the detectives did not lose it with her shows great restraint on their part.

Many peace-loving citizens wanted to slap her.

She had to wear an electric shock device whenever she appeared in court. I hoped more than once that she would do something that required them to electronically zap her. I wondered if there was something wrong with me for hoping that...then decided there wasn't.

Jodi Arias trial, the truth about the 59 page motion to dismiss death penalty

"...Meanwhile a flurry of papers that amounts to just over 50 pages has been filed by the defense this week. This is an eleventh hour motion before retrial that is a request to move that the State drop their motion of intent to seek the death penalty according to Arizona Central on Oct. 2...."

It makes you wonder if Jodi (the double packs of facial cleanser and sunscreen she bought on the way.) expected to do the same this time. She had just about everything planned, and set up. I think the" cd's of photos" were the external hard drive Jodi brought and was destroyed, either Travis when he caught her, or Jodi destroying her blackmail threats after she killed Travis.

I think Jodi did have something to do with tampering with the camera that day, and loaded those odd graphic ones, and may of shown him when she surprised him in the shower, and told him how to stand, ( there was no Calvin Klein photo shoot for a trimmed down ready to go to Cancun without her Travis), and gave him another chance to change his mind about her going. He refused for the final time. She got lazy and threw it in the washer on her way out.

She came packed out, by her own admission, for her meandering 1800 hundred mile trip to "visit" friends and family,. and as the video pointed out a 'professional " photographer who always has a camera with her, and takes tons of photos, none were taken, other than the ones of her in the car with her new hairdo she took of herself in the WalMart parking lot with her cellphone (she screwed up again) and the ones of Travis, taken with his camera were taken during that trip.

YesorNo posted two youtubes upthread that does show motive and premeditation by Jodi, and the desperate trip to get to Travis. If things worked out all she had to do was return the car to the rental place in Mesa. She claimed she parked in the middle of the drive way, that was to make it seem like she was a welcome guest, but she was parked around there somewhere close, in case things didn't work out and she need to continue to hide her presence in Mesa. She'd gone stealth all the way to Travis's , so why now announce your presence, if you hiding something?

P

Sure. Because going off into the woods with some men she barely knew, screams "I'm afraid of men!". The logical thing would have been to NOT go, instead of bringing a gun. She's a liar. Lord, give her the DP please.

You are so correct. When you really listen and watch all the answers and stories she gives, you realize it is truly a bunch of hogwash.

I was just watching earlier a review of the case from Vinnie on I think HLN, and he reminded me how she first told the police she wasnt even there at his house that day. Then her story changed to the "Ninja" intruders. Then while on the stand, she claims self defense. 3 different stories.

She is the biggest liar in Arizona. If there was any truth at all about self defense, she would not have tried to use her first 2 excuses of not being there at all, and then the Ninja intruders.

The intruder lies she told were my personal favorite...LOL How she saw them kill Travis, and they saw her too but miraculously they just left her alone to be able to tell police on them. I suppose she thought the police would believe they let her go because of how nice a person she is. It really is incredible this 1.

Good eeevening...I was over at really big dog catching up on her blog posts and a question occurred, so of course I scooted right over here to ask - there are several breeds of miniature dogs, why aren't there any miniature cat breeds?

I can't tell you how many times I sat there thumbing the buttons on the TV remote hoping that the right combination would trigger that zapper.... Sadly, it never worked the way I hoped. ;)

Good question. I suppose cats may not have any breeds that are real tiny. If they do, I am not aware of any.

I was just at the Vet today and could have asked the Vet this question...LOL
