Nurmi said in opening that the killer's dad choked her until she was unconscious. And he made it sound like that happened more than once or twice. We never heard that the first time around and it struck me odd that he would say that...unless he had Dad's approval to say it.
Which makes me suspect mystery witness is Daddy Dearest.
If the witness name is leaked would this cause a mistrial?
This is another lie. Can't JM call her a liar and then show the jury what she said last year about her dad? Here is what JA said in 1st trial
JODI ARIAS, ACCUSED MURDERER: I don`t really remember except Travis was screaming. I think I got knocked out, but I don`t think I was out long. I know I got knocked in the head and I'd gotten knocked in the head once by my dad when he was just really mad. And it wasn`t like -- actually he didn`t knock me in the head, he just pushed me against the wall and I hit my head and I fell.

She also hasas a half brother.Good catch!
But isn't this EXACTLY why trials are open to the public? So that anyone who has an interest can listen and come forward if they hear something that they *know* is untrue/incorrect? I think it's madness to allow this witness to testify in complete anonymity and sequestered in a way that no one can even hear or read what is said.He can, and hopefully the jury will "get it."
I have a feeling that whoever is testifying in secrecy this day is...being less than truthful. Otherwise there would be no reason for them to fear speaking in public.
IMO.

Every time the courtroom door opens we all try to look inside to see who's on the stand. Rumors flying. No facts. Locked out. #JodiArias

Check the motions. Cheryl Karp could testify under pseudonym.
