I know feelings many have for the judge are, let's say less than favorable.
But this article (IMO) is just a trash rehash of the judges reputation with a tidbit of habit that has never been discussed here.
I personally do not care for this article - not shooting the messenger (YESorNO:seeya thanks for posting.

But to give the devil some doubt - we have not heard half of this retrial sentencing phase.
We probably only heard about one fourth, due to all the secrecy - maybe, just MAYBE, JSS has some valid points???
Maybe hands are tied and due process has to play out.
Our system does favor the defendant and in this case it happens to be Jodi.
But what IF, the defendant happens to be an innocent person (not this case, another example) - we would be loving how our system operates.

The trouble with our system is that too many defendants happen to be guilty, and they get the benefits that an innocent person should receive.

My rant is over - it's just my opinion, yeah, it's taking an extra long time, and I do think JSS could help move it along,
but I think the article is a bit unfair with their accusations.

I can understand why you do not care for that article (that's why I said "she doesn't like JSS").

(I normally just post whatever article comes up and what I think everyone would like to read or should read because it has good info, with no discussion or words from me. When I find something "questionable", IMO, I usually state it somehow and I always try to warn people if it has foul language, pictures that show Travis after he died, people who might look different than "normal", supporters with :scared: views, etc, so the readers are not surprised when they do look at the website. It's only fair, IMO.)

Anyway, as to JSS, I do think that you are correct when you stated that we probably only know 1/4 of what is going on in this retrial phase- there's something underneath that we don't have all the info on.

As to the article- It's always good to get to get other's views and "opinions", IMO, whatever they may be about- in this way, I think, we can form our own as to what the truth is- either by agreeing with that person or not. And who knows, there might even be some grain of truth in anyone's opinion in some, if not all, of what they are talking about. Open minds get (info) more than closed :moo:

I do think that it is tiresome that this retrial is going at a snail's pace and it's frustrating for one and all, but I do think that JSS is no fool and somehow she is doing the correct thing at any given time that we are not fully aware of (so much secrecy- sealed this, sealed that, secret "witnesses, and pseudo names :gaah.

Just remember that all will be revealed one day when everything is unsealed and we will know what the heck is really going on, ( but maybe we all will be dead by then because this is taking soooooooo long???? :facepalm.

I do know that if anything is "questionable" in this retrial, JM will seek it out and not let it go until it's resolved by the truth of whatever matter is at hand. I don't think he would let anyone get away with anything, and that includes JSS, that's how much confidence I have in him- and just my :moo:, of course. We have a pit-bull in the court, that when he gets someone/something by the neck, he will not let go until he knows the truth (and again- that includes JSS).

I'm looking for something that verifies that the secret testimony argument is also on Thursday- I thought it was suppose to be at 8/8:30 on Thursday. I'll continue looking and get back.

Agree with your post - even though I did not quote it in my response.

I usually read the articles and think - Oh, Ok, some more info, or the same info redone.
This time it was like, umm, that seems a little harsh.
Nothing new, except one tidbit which may or may not explain somethings and could be
a serious allegation, at least in my opinion.

I sure do wish this trial moves along - at the end when all can be revealed
I'm not sure I'll even want to know what was behind closed door #1,2,or3.
I'll be overtired and exhausted from all of this Arias Nonsense.

Ruby, I've been one to rail about JSS, and maybe a time or two when I was really frustrated. But I didn't like that article either - criticism for action, inaction or decisions is fair game. But personal attacks and rumor mongering is uncalled for, IMO. I suspect the author might have been angry when she wrote it, maybe? :thinking:

I saw that about SW- and Decepticon's answer to you :facepalm: I was going to post something about it here, but got sidetracked (as always :facepalm.
I don't even read most of SW's posts as she has a great deal of bias on anything that has to do with Det. Flores and his wife.
There was lots going on with SW and Det. flore's wife last year- at least on Twitter and various website.
Decepticon was a little bit brief and snarky on his reply to you, IMO. I think he's surrendering to you on your last post. :facepalm:

I just asked that question of Arizona Lawyer on the resentencing thread today. She said judges are appointed after a thorough review but to stay in office past their term, they must be reelected. And yes, JSS runs for reelection in 2016.

If the comments on this site - http://www.therobingroom.com/arizona/Judge.aspx?id=6099 are anything to go by, she doesn't stand much chance of being re-elected.. Her rating out of 10 is maxed at 1.8, most that I have read are 1.0.....

Don't give this woman to much of your info. I have read she uses information against others.
