From what I understood from the tweets, was that whenever (time frame) that "witness" claimed Deanna was abused, JM came back with : There is no way, because at that time, Deanna wasn't even this Country! So it must have been while she was doing her missionary work in Costa Rica. I definitely could be confused though.

What Nurmi is arguing sounds like an appeal issue to me. Doesn't belong in this phase. Also seems to me the DP WOULD be taken off the table if Jodi would agree to LWOP. IMO, that's what she'll get anyway.

Did any if you note that when the judge remarked that Nurmi did not address the issues for which he is now claiming, on redirect with Lonnie Dworkin, he took no responsibility? Or accountability? That it was all Juan's fault? I was stunned. And I should not have been.

IIRC Nurmi also blamed Juan for JA doing all those interviews after the verdict !!!

I'm going to put this out there:

In the past, I used both the Microsoft Windows XP and Vista.
Both were subject to pop ups, viruses, malware, Trojans, etc., even with McAfee or Norton protection.
The Window's Security/Firewall/Virus protection was total garbage. Everytime I downloaded a Service Pak, I got "stuff" I didn't want.
"" and a non related pop up blocker chilled it out a bit, but both platforms constantly needed to be defragged and scanned for "junk".
I did this daily because I was on Facebook, and several Yahoo Groups. If you happened to be on My Space too, major, major additional spam.
Facebook peeps would post a virus or Trojan threat at least once a week, and the "don't click this link!"
When I was playing games on Facebook, I cleared my cache, browser history, local history and defragged sometimes 3-4 times a day, plus I had business emails w/a website.
Youtube? Heck, play a few videos and it would crash, popup, popup, re-start/reboot in "safe mode".
I also had my protection on automatic weekly scans, and I did manual scans at least once a week too.
I was getting TONS of junk email with links.
Get yourself a www.domain and it was open season. Finally shut my site down, kept the name though.
If Travis was clearing all his stuff and had a bunch of protections, I was right there with him.

So, for all the hoopla, back in 2007-2008, using a PC could be a PITA.

Will add that when I got my Twitter account up at the beginning of this trial, it was hacked twice, someone was spamming peeps with my account. Another tweeter was nice enough to tweet me that my account had been compromised.

And what kind of "friend" or "associate" refuses to testify in person, on video, or affidavit if a person is looking at the death penalty?
Maybe ones that have nefarious and/or criminal backgrounds, are easily caught in their lies, or are so full of poop, they KNOW their testimony would fall flat.

Seriously, CMJA's OWN FAMILY will NOT take the stand for her...........what does that say? Even in the Hulsey and DeVault trials here recently, the families took the stand in the mitigation phase...........and twitter was pretty nasty with those two.

And this baloney of the witness from out of the country, we KNOW who he is. He's got his 15 minutes of fame on the internet, and now the defense wants him to repeat his "story" in court..........he won't show up because it's all lies.

BBM Are you referring to Marc Mcgee from New Zealand? We spoke about him last year. He's the one that said Travis spoke to him about internet .

Even if such a conversation between TA and MM took place, which I doubt, it may not have been a confession at all. Maybe it is being touted as a confession now, due to this trial. But for all we know it could have been a statement about having a problem with internet spamming his computer. That's assuming a conversation even happened between the two (about which, again, I have my doubts).
