I can't thank every post, so thanks to you all.
Just realized another thing JA cannot do in jail.
While I am in the older group, I rent. It stinks, but there is no choice and at least the landlord has to fix the water heater, ac, furnace, etc... Even if they raise the rent a bit, I couldn't afford to fix major things, nor can I mow grass anymore.
A new person moved in downstairs. Poor soul. This big house converted apartments was built in 1910. You would think the walls would be thick right? So wrong. As I discovered first after moving here. (Some older buildings are, this one is not.)
Some male is down there yelling to test the sound. I simply said in normal voice, "Yes, we can hear you. We can even hear you poot. No need to yell, we can hear your normal speaking voice. Here, let me turn the television on so you are not left alone in your own head." Lol.
He stopped.
JA is stuck with hearing cell mates no matter which kind of incarceration she has. I swear I would claw myself to death if I had to. Could not do it.
